The rooms, service and staff at this hotel were impeccable. My only slight peeve is there were unsupervised children running around the hotel early in the morning from 730am on the last day of my stay, yelling as they went past all the rooms and up and down stairs making a huge noise when people were trying to sleep while their parents ate breakfast in the restaurant and ignored them. That’s probably more a reflection on those guests who allowed it than the hotel but nothing was done about it.
The hotel is in dire need of renovation, but the hotel is very well equipped. It's got everything you could want. Laundry, water, sweets at reception, gym, pool, hot tub, parking.nnNice big airy concourse, and our room was huge as well. Staff were helpful and friendly.nnIn terms of stays, it's been the highlight of our trip.
Very dated lift and bathroom, but everything worked, and we had a very comfortable and pleasant stay. Also very much appreciated free washing machine for laundry and 24hr reception, big bonuses that you can't always expect from other hotels. We would definitely return if we came to Canberra again.
The bed and pillows are so plush and comfortable, I will return just for those two features.nnThe reception and common areas has such a strong odour, similar to male cologne. It is quite overpowering.nnOtherwise, was a lovely stay and would stay again.
I really enjoyed the stay. The breakfasts were really delicious and good customer service. Room is spacious and clean, the window in my room is small and is facing a drive way. Other than that, the room smelt not as good as lobby area. Still i really enjoyed the stay so i give it 5 stars. It is really fancy.
