Lovely old world atmosphere and art Deco Style hotel with lots of parliamentary history and memorabilia. Very comfortable bed. Verandah and enclosed outdoor garden  off the bar and restaurant adds to the appeal. Our room even had a private porch/ balcony with wicker furniture. Good location close to many attractions in the parliamentary zone.

A charming and luxurious hotel that exudes Art Deco  features illuminating the period that made it famous!  Staff were most friendly and accommodating and nothing was ever to much trouble.  I highly recommend this fine hotel.

Very good work on the renewal, the hotel is very good looking. Not quite gorgeous but almost there. Staff could slightly improve their smile and friendliness but are very professional and helpful. Will definitely go back, would place this hotel as 3rd best in Canberra.

A historic hotel that has a modern make over. Covers all the basics easily. We'll situated for easy access to Canberra's attractions.

Good sized room and bathroom. Very comfortable. However parking could be hard unless you don't drive around and leave your car in the parking spot.
