I would like to thank all Medical Staff and all other staff at Gatton Hospital for the dedication and care shown to my brother Terrace Douglas Charter during his stay in hospital. we the family were shown respect at all times as we come and went to sit with my brother during his final days and the staff checked we were comfortable and doing ok. Thanks to Gatton Hospital for the privacy and respect shown to us all.
I took my toddler in after she became dehydrated from vomiting. Poor little thing was so sick. The nurses and nurse practitioner were lovely. They were patient and caring. We were able to take her home after the helped her to improve and despite being busy they took the time to answer our questions. I also got a follow-up call from the hospital from the nurse practitioner to check on her. I really appreciated it as it is always stressful when your kid is sick.
Worst experience I had ever had. Waited for 6 hours and didn’t see a doctor while people coming after me where been taken by nurses to see doctors. Felt stupid, ashamed and humiliated I had to argue with one of them. They told me my situation is not that serious so I had to wait patiently. Like they know what’s happening inside my body. I have flu and I’m coughing up mucus for a week now even though I’m taking medications and every night is fever and head and body pains. If this is not serious what is then, or maybe I’m just different that’s why.
I just went to Emergency and was treated very fast, with great care and by wonderful staff. The best hospital experience I have had.
I have had to attend this facility more times than I would like to admit. The staff are excellent and caring. They have some small issues, but they aren't afraid to admit when they occur and are always working to improve, and I feel that's the most important part when it comes to small issues...nnOn the health care side, they are excellent... They are very under resourced and under appreciated, but they work hard to help their patients with what they have available to them and fight to ensure that you get the additional help needed where they can't assist...
