We visited the hospital when one of our friends were admitted there & the staff were helpful with directions to find the place.nnOur biggest gripe is not adequate parkings spaces for staff, public and patients.nnParking charges are one of the most expensive for a hospitals in Brisbane area. Not easy to find the vending machines to pay for parking & car park operator should stop milking money out of the public.
I had to have my finger operated on just over 2 months ago. I was in ward 8A and I can't commend the fabulous nursing staff enough for the care provided and how friendly they were. I also would like to thank the kitchen staff for the amazing food and the super friendly staff that delivered the meals! Thanks ever so much to the amazing team and the Mater Hospital for being the best hospital in Brisbane:
Staff in the Endoscopy unit were wonderful, pleasant, peaceful, dedicated working efficiently. The equipment mainly the trolley/ bed I was on required maintenance to support the good work staff do.nGrateful for my care today. Thank you I appreciate your caring
Don't go here for an emergency, it's not really an emergency hospital and the staff are apathetic. You'll wait all night and nothing will get done. Seriously considering filing an official complaint and getting private healthcare. Qld government need to increase their services with their growing population but they aren't. But it's out of sight out of mind for these politicians in their ivory towers.
The midwife decided not to do home visit for my baby after getting discharged from the hospital I didn’t had that support to check my baby weight and overall health that’s sad to treat someone like that. But thank you to the other midwife’s who delivered my baby very wonderful girls but the midwife that was assigned to me to do the home visit midwife Jackie didn’t do her part just very disappointed in her part.
