I just got out of shoulder surgery and was placed in ward D Orthopaedic Ward. I cannot fault the nursing staff and all staff, especially the night shift workers. They were always prompt in bringing my pain medication, every time I rang the call bell for any reason I barely had to wait. They were very caring and compassionate. They made my recovery as comfortable as possible and stress free. Overall the hospital was great, from administrators at the front to the pharmacy on discharge. Food was good and they got it right every time. Thank you to everyone at the hospital.
My short stay in this hospital was absolutely fantastic from admission to discharge. The nursing staff were very very efficient and professional as well as friendly and caring.nMy only complaints are about the ambience of the rooms very starknplus no pamper pack, soap etc, no linen in the bathroom and more importantly the food served.nMany meals were bulk slop. Totally inedible and not the standard that private hospitals normally serve.nOne 'pancake' actually a piklete does not a breakfast make. Especially when menu says pancakes.nI have attached an egg and lettuce sandwich picture. Dry bread and a spoonful of what looked like cold scrambled egg in centre of slice.nSerious revision needed in the kitchen dept. The public nursing home I visit serves better than this.nnUPDATE.nThanks to Hannah's quick response about my concerns/complaint. I received à nice phone call from the new catering chef/manager apologising and most of all acknowledging the issues I was disappointed about. He is currently working on the problems and hopes to resolve them quickly. Thank you for the follow-up. This hiccup will not deter me from using Brisbane Private Hospital again hopefully not.
The Staff at the Brisbane Private hospital are amazing. Thank you to Dr Malisano, Stephen Boyd Physiotherapist team at the Rehab Centre. Dr David Chum, nursing and all staff. The level of kindness, care and professionalism is so great to see. With the Health System in such crisis this hospital goes above and beyond in their care. Thank you so much.
I went in for my surgery of on the 12th this month.nI was nervous specially after reading the negative reviews about this hospital.nI had once been in for an emergency surgery so couldn't remember the experience.nnWell I can say now, my experience was really good.nnFrom the start to end, it went really smooth.nAll staff involved was friendly and professional.nThe paperwork and payments were done in advance thought the link which made everything much easier.nnUpon arrival I had all my paperwork checked and confirmed.nI was given a menu form to choose what I would like to eat given I was staying the night.nThe food was great considering this is a hospital not a hotel.nnThe nurses were very helpful and welcoming.nA special thank you to : John, Yoko and Mick. From the 12th to the 13th of SeptembernThey made my over night stay very comfortable and making sure I took all my medications.
Thank you to the doctors Dr Miller and Dr Turnbull and aftercare staff Frank, Sophie, Lisa, Shelley, I was very well looked after. Thank to theatre nurse, very kind and waiting room staff Parking and location was easy to access. Food was good.
