Outpatient service generally very good with wait times using an automated ticket system with a manned reception desk. The area I was in had a large television and nearby water fountains and toilets. Comfortable seating available and have never had to stand waiting. Clean environment. Some street parking is available and usually full. There's a large car park but like most car parks it is very expensive. Fortunately the short wait times limits this. I think car parking should be free at hospitals. Staff rarely interact due to automation but usually nice if approached.

If I could give no stars I would....went here today cause I couldn't get into see a doctor until Wednesday, and unfortunately most doctors are not open on a Sunday. Presented to A&E with sever lower and upper back pain, had heaps of people who were AFTER me go before me, finally got in to see a doctor who then said I had been to multiple hospitals in the last few months, I had only been to two. Doctor did some tests, told her that panadol, ibuprofen and even panadeine forte was not helping for the pain, as well as trying remedial stuff like hot baths and wheat packs. I explained I had only been to two hospitals in the last couple of months, so she said she'd double check, whilst I was in agony she was sitting at the nurses station constantly looking at me and talking to her colleague about me, saying how I've been to multiple hospitals in the past couple of months, and looking at me as if I've committed a crime. She finally came back and said they couldn't do anything cause of the fact I'd been to multiple hospitals which is incorrect, and basically said their was nothing they could do for me, they were pretty much essentially calling me a liar and their so called "facts" don't lie! I left the hospital in excruciating pain and I still am In a lot of pain and probably won't get a good nights rest, and I'm scared to go to a different hospital in fear they'll say the same thing, so I pretty much have to be in agony until I can see a GP!!!! I'm disgusted in this place, don't waste your time, they'd rather call someone who's got a sprained ankle and help them, and tell the people who you can't physically see the problem to go home and there's nothing to be done but live in agony! >:(

Professionalism mixed with character makes for all presenting here for assistance to whatever section or ward to be given a high performance of service. Both Cardiology and the Sleep Disorder Unit have on each occasion treated me and anyone else I have noticed with the highest degree of dignity and professionalism. In my opinion Reception Staff, Nurses and Doctors should be commended for their excellence in care. Thank you sincerely.
