Went to The Prince Charles Hospital expecting boring old medical care, but wow… they really knew how to treat me. Nurses were so gentle I half expected romantic music to start playing. One took my blood pressure and, I swear, it was the most intimate hand squeeze I’ve had in months.nnThe gowns? Open at the back — a little cheeky, a little breezy — just enough to make me feel like a hospital runway model. The food… surprisingly good. Jelly so wobbly it made me blush.nnDoctors were professional, thorough, and I’m 90% sure one of them winked at me before telling me to “rest up.” Well, doc, I’ll rest if you keep talking to me like that.nn10/10 — would let them take my vitals again.
Been to this hospital a few times and recently due to a suspected fracture in the leg. They took an x ray and said the swelling too bad & x ray wont show. One of the doctors told me to get CT Scan from a private practice even though they had facilities at the hospital.nnOther times we noticed even if there is no one in the emergency it takes several hours for one of the doctors to see us. A lot of time medical staff simply chit chat with eac other.
I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to the amazing staff at The Prince Charles Hospital. They helped me get well in a very timely manner, treating me with so much respect and professionalism throughout my stay. From the doctors and nurses to the support staff, everyone showed genuine care and dedication. Their efforts made a huge difference to my recovery, and I feel truly fortunate to have been in such capable and compassionate hands. Thank you for everything you do!
Had family member admitted to your emergency department Sunday 22/6/2025.nHe received such wonderful care from the ambulance officers who transported him to hospital to his discharge.nAll staff showed dedication,professionalism and empathy dealing with the patient and family.nThank you Dr. Drew and Team for the amazing work you do.
I attended the Emergency Department this morning for a sprained ankle and received fantastic care from the staff. I was prepared for a long wait but was in and out within 2.5hours. Everyone I met was very friendly from the nurses, doctors, X-ray staff and porters. I was treated by Doctor Heather who provided excellent care and nothing was too much trouble. Initially I attended an Urgent Care Clinic elsewhere only to be told there was no X-ray working and I’m so glad I decided to attend the Prince Charles instead.
