Sooo slow. Despite only two other patients, I still waited over 30mins to be seen, 30 mins for an X-ray and another 20 mins for results. On arrival I was in quite a bit of pain but the receptionist was being trained and I had to wait for her to finish her computer work before I was even asked what I was here for. Despite saying I was in quite a bit of pain and the other patients looked ok, I was seen last. Dr and nurse were very friendly though. If it's a serious injury just go straight to the hospital. Once again another negative experience here.
Don’t bother coming. Wait times are so long you will likely die if you are seriously sick or injured.nOver 5 hours to see a Doctor is just not good enough.nThey need more Doctors working to see patients and a clear way of showing you where you are in the waiting list.nThe fees charged here $160 are not cheap and should be providing a better service.nDO BETTER…
Patients have to wait a long time to be seen by the doctor. For instance, when we were there, it took two and a half hours before the doctor could see my daughter. What if a patient is feeling very unwell? Unfortunately, the service is slow, and despite the high fees, the wait time remains excessively long.
Just want to share my experience there with this particular doctor from her majesty's island so that hopefully you guys could be prepared if seeing him by any chance.nnI came back from holiday with chest pain and fever at night. Went there next day, waited for half day and did a Covid-kit type of test. I was then told by nurse that I got Flu A. When the doctor came to see me, the first question was WHAT I EXPECTED FROM HIM TODAY, WHY I CAME HERE, IF I WAS EXPECTING TO GET SOME ANTIBIOTICS, and then started giving me lessons on basic medical facts like I am an idiot, until I stopped him and said YOU ARE THE DOCTOR, I EXPECTED YOU TO TELL ME WHAT I SHOULD EXPECT. How would I know it was a Flu if I didn't come and do the test. He then asked me IF I JUST WANT A DOCTOR NOTE FOR SICK LEAVE. When I told him I have chest pain but not coughing, he wrote in my report like I was lying about the chest pain if I didn't cough. He also wrote in the medical report that it was a difficult consultation for him as he was confused about what the patient really wanted.
I have been attending this clinic for many years with my children for a range of acute matters GP can never fit us in. I have always been impressed by the care provided by the nurses and doctors. My visit today was no exception. I saw Dr. Roxanne and she was excellent. It is a walk in clinic so we always expect to wait and are thankful to have this service available to us. Today my son took Lego and a book with him and I of course had snacks ready for him. Thank you to the White Cross team.
