My grandson and I have been waiting at White Cross Ascot for over 4 hours now and not seen a doctor. My grandson who just needs a plaster change and I were left in dusty plaster room over hour and half, after him sneezing and me wheezing, we are back in waiting room, it is now past 9pm. My grandson needs to go to school tomorrow. Neither of us have had dinner, me being a diabetic, asthmatic. Take your life into your own hands coming here. Why have we not been seen? Is it because we are Maori?
I just visited White Cross Emergency Medical Centre 24/7 around last night 1:30 am. I am suffering with UTI and was bleeding by the time I reached the hospital. At reception they gave a form to be filled and within 10-12 minutes nurse came and took urine sample for testing. Another 10-15 minutes doctor Peter Stone consulted me. He gave me first dose of medication there itself and prescribed medication as well. My first experience with this place was quite good and helpful.
Extremely Disappointed with 5-Hour Wait at White Cross GreenlanennI’m writing to express my deep disappointment with the experience my son had at White Cross Greenlane. He was made to wait over 5 hours to be seen by a doctor. That is simply unacceptable.nnWhen someone seeks urgent medical attention, especially a child, they should not be left sitting in a waiting room for hours on end. This level of delay is not just frustrating – it’s a complete failure of service and care.nnWe understand that clinics can get busy, but this was beyond reasonable. There needs to be better communication, triaging, and staffing to prevent this kind of situation from happening to other families.nnFrankly, this was an absolute joke.
My experiences with A&E's have been patchy at best over the years so feel like I need to give credit where its due to White Cross Ascot We've happened to have been there three times in the last few months and have had an excellent experience every time. The support staff and nurses are lovely, the wait times have been reasonable and the Doctors have been thorough and very kind. Dr Nikki you are a gem! Thank you!
Sooo slow. Despite only two other patients, I still waited over 30mins to be seen, 30 mins for an X-ray and another 20 mins for results. On arrival I was in quite a bit of pain but the receptionist was being trained and I had to wait for her to finish her computer work before I was even asked what I was here for. Despite saying I was in quite a bit of pain and the other patients looked ok, I was seen last. Dr and nurse were very friendly though. If it's a serious injury just go straight to the hospital. Once again another negative experience here.
