VR Queen Street - Hotel & Suites

Room was nice, clean and decent value for money. However checkout time as specified in the email said 11am, but we had housekeeping knocking at the door before 10:30am telling us we were supposed to be out by 10am. A room booked for three of us but only really space for two to watch TV, which was a bit of a bummer really. Overall, okay experience and wouldn't be completely opposed to coming back.

The queen bed was 2 single beds pushed together but was still comfy.nBathroom light illuminates the whole room, bad design if someone is sleeping!nnThere's a kitchen but no cooking equipment except a small frying pan and an oven with no tray to cook things on so it's mostly just for hot drinks and microwave meals if you're wanting to eat in.nnApart from that the room was nice and clean and there was a little dishwasher. Shower was pretty powerful and there was lots of soap provided. Would stay again if in Auckland as the price was reasonable.

$89 room from walking in at 4pm. Great value. Room was dated and basic. Shower nice, though a fixed head. Towels thin and rough. No milk in fridge.nLocation good for a night out on K road, or a bit of a walk up from Queen st.nI would stay again at the price I paid.nMy room was not double glazed, so a little noisy.

It’s a nice single bed studio style, room is clean with well equipment like microwave & toaster. Street view is nice on high floor. The only down side is one of the male receptionist doesn’t feel very welcoming while check in, he only asked for ID and credit card, explain how to use lift and that’s about it. On the others hands two of the female receptionist one is Aimee are friendly and professional I saw Aimee checking with other guest and explain about wifi and how to contact reception with phone before assist me to recode my room card

Have some trouble booking from Agoda, because the hotel staff said that they not cooperating anymore with Agoda. But the staff was very helpful to push Agoda to give refunds for us.nnThe room was nice with all the facilities and amenities. AC, TV, microwave, Oven and electric Stove was a very good facilities for us muslim to travel around. They also have laundries that we have to pay with coins to use. An affordable version of laundry.nnOverall I have a good experience here, and definitely will come back if I visit Auckland next time.
