This Hotel is located close to absolutely everything. Very clean rooms, comfortable beds, everything in new working order.nnAlso very good cooked breakfasts, handy parking. Reception is safe and secure after hours.nnA perfect safe and reasonable priced hotel to stay.

Tiny rooms and washrooms. Service is also not good. As said, first impressions is the last impression, I called 3-4 times to reception at the time of Check in to give our luggage at room. For room service housekeeping we need to call 3-4 times at reception. But yes location is good. Walking distance from sky tower and Harbour also from city center. Even housekeeping staff is good and very polite. Hotel claims for sound proof rooms but we can easily hear the noise from nearby rooms.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Ascotia Off Queen Hotel for one night and was thoroughly impressed. Upon arrival, the gentleman receptionist was incredibly helpful and accommodating, ensuring a smooth check-in process. The lady receptionist at night was equally cheerful and friendly, adding a warm touch to the overall experience.nnI had booked online and was delighted to find my room prepared to a high standard—neat and clean, from the beds to the toilets. Although I didn't get the SkyCity view, my first-floor room with windows overlooking Queens Street provided ample natural light during the day, which was refreshing. The room was perfect for completing my online work, and I slept very comfortably.nnThe hotel's location is excellent, being close to various restaurants and the CBD area. I enjoyed a delicious $15 pizza for dinner, which was more than enough, complemented by the awesome bar staff and chef. The breakfast was also good value at an additional $20.nnAlthough I had planned to extend my stay, a change in my schedule required me to leave before 10 AM. However, I will definitely be returning and may request a SkyCity view next time. Thank you, Ascotia Hotel, for the great service!

It is not that fancy unlike other hotels in its neighborhood but it is clean, very tidy and customer service is superb! they even gave us a courtesy call to make sure everything is fine when we got in the room which I did not experience in other 5 star hotels I visited. Kudos to the team especially the friendly receptionist Karla, great job!

Had free water and complimentary hot drink stuff. Everything was clean. Shower had a broken shelf but it wasn't a big deal for me. I only wanted a place to sleep before moving on the next day. Place uses door cards so it's easy to go in and out.
