Centrally located in downtown…easy walk to everywhere: Sky Tower, Viaduct Harbour, Ferry Building, Queen Street, Quay Street Waterfront, Uptown, Midtown, University of Auckland, etc. No provided airport shuttle so Taxi ride from the airport was approximately around $110 New Zealand = $67. Shuttle service would be more economical $20 New Zealand/pp or $12.25/pp. Paid parking was available. Room was spacious but the bathroom was poorly designed for hanging towels as limited tower bars were installed. Large size fridge and safe were available in room. Walkability: Centrally located in downtown…easy walk to everywhere: Sky Tower, Viaduct Harbour, Ferry Building, Queen Street, Quay Street Waterfront, Uptown, Midtown, University of Auckland, etc. Food & drinks: lots of nearby restaurants that are located within walking distance
Dated rooms and hotel, it really calls for a renovation or update. Nothing uncomfortable about it though, what can be worked upon is the primitive air-conditioning panel in the rooms, could not get to set the temp I wanted. Plus points: Great location, delicious breakfast, very helpful staff.Rooms: 4/5
Very nice hotel. The breakfast buffet was also very good. The rooms are spacious and very clean. I liked every minute staying there. My room card key didn't work on my second day, I let the staff know, and they immediately solved my problem. They were very attentive and professional.Rooms: 5/5
This is an excellent hotel for its location to downtown , walking distance to shops and restaurants, and visiting the waterfront areas of Auckland. We received the best 10 out of 10 services from the check in desk, from the concierge desk for great travel information on New Zealand, good room services for breakfast. Hotel staff were very pleasant and service oriented over the phone. The room was exceptionally cleaned and spacious. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Recommend this hotel to all visitors of New Zealand. Will return again definitely! Rooms: The room was cleaned and well furnished Safety: Very safe area and clean Walkability: Great location to waterfront, stores and shops and restaurants Food & drinks: The food was well made and great tasting. Noteworthy details: Excellent services and very knowledgeable staff about Auckland
Our stay here was decent. Pretty central location and walkable to most of the CBD. We had a slight delay in our check in process but everything that happened after that was really good. We stayed for 3 nights with two young kids and the hotel is well equipped to keep kids occupied. The pool is heated and indoors. The gym is well equipped. The food is better than average.
We had a great overnight stay here. The staff are amazing...very friendly and helpful. Nothing was a problem. You receive a lovely personalized card and a small tray of delicious baking. The beds are super comfy too! Very impressed and will stay again.
Stayed here for one Friday night, our room got upgraded which was really nice. When we got here there was no concierge to direct us and when I went inside to ask where to park etc service was very slow. Only 2 service people for 3.30pm on a Friday. Our room which was upgraded to a jumior suite was really nice, big room and tidy. Had the amenities needed. Ordered room service in the morning, this was fast however lacked luster. Stay away from the eggs Benedict was very dry and overcooked. The French toast was yummy. Other than these few things the hotel was a nice stay and good location. Rooms: Tidy and has main amenities. Nearby activities: Lots of dining and activities in walking distance. Food & drinks: Wouldn't reccomend the room service, breakfast was poor. However there are a few dining options available.
Actually in love with this hotel, the staff were so nice and welcome - always greeting you everyday. The room was immaculate, loved how big the room was. Obsessed with their lobby, I love how nice it always smell! And I love their buffet breakfast! Their options are endless. Takes 5 min or less depending on your walk to get to the main shopping centre Rooms: Spacious and clean. Loved all the smallest little details in the room Nearby activities: A lot of shopping and activities nearby Walkability: 5-10 min to main shopping district, depending on your walking ability Food & drinks: Food & drinks were immaculate, a little pricy but totally understandable
Lovely hotel overall but I'd say the open, communal areas were more impressive than our room. However, great staff and the Irish guy sharing his whisky options was great and a Japanese option was chosen for the first time, and enjoyed. Room service offerings very good too. Rooms: Good size and clean. Walkability: Easy access to centre of Auckland, shops and the shore/harbour.
Don't bother using them for your function venue or corporate carpark leasing. They don't care about how loyal of a customer your are. We lease car parks from them and we have reserved signs up in our spots, however they're more than happy to let others park in the spots if it means they get a bit more out of it and they won't give you any notice. Customer service reps at the door will stereotype and greet/provide service to who they perceive to speak better English and ignore you if you're a tourist.
