Auckland City Hotel

Our stay at Auckland City Hotel was truly delightful! The hotel's location is simply fabulous, offering easy access to the city's attractions and vibrant atmosphere. The service we received was top-notch, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction throughout our stay. The highlight of our mornings was the delicious breakfast served at the hotel, providing a delightful start to our day. We highly recommend Auckland City Hotel for a memorable and enjoyable stay in the heart of Auckland.

I needed somewhere close to the Sky Tower to catch a bus the next day and the hotel was only about two easy blocks away. The room was beautifully clean and well serviced. When I was booking in one of the Reception staff noticed I use a walking cane, and they changed my room so that it was elevator access. The breakfast buffet had lots of fresh food, great choices, and very nice staff. Finally, when I was leaving through a different door than the lobby, a staff member walked out from the desk and down the corridor to open the door for me.

Overall a bit of a ‘meh’ experience. Staff at the desk were helpful and friendly. I had tried to extend my original booking a while ago, but it had been done as two separate reservations, which caused a little bit of faff just a little.nnMy room was serviced frequently, but the bed mattress definitely needs replacing. It wasn’t particularly comfortable, and was falling apart at the sides. The room was generally clean, but the shower screen was filthy.nnLocation-wise, it has pros and cons. It’s very central, which brings convenience but also so. much. noise. When I visited, there was a lot of building work happening on Hobson St., and while this is out of the hotel’s control, it did still impact noise levels.

I want to suggest this hotel for vacation. The room is very wide and clean. It has a lot of facilities; comfortable beds, a large kitchen, a washing machine etc. This hotel has high security and provide easy access. The staff are very pleasant.

The front office staff too serious, like reading a provided script?nnKindly write details of room in description. I face difficulty to help my mobility mom to go up stairs room which was situated at upper floor.nnKitchen utensils, washing machine is provided. Good.
