Grand Millennium Auckland

The Hotel is undergoing renovations to the bar on the mezzanine floor, work started at 8.15am with banging and machinery. No where on the website said work was being done, we would not have stayed otherwise. While we were waiting for the valet to bring our car up, a staff member asked if we wanted to sit somewhere more quieter, so I mentioned to her that the renovation was not mentioned on the website.nIn the morning there was no reply from Concierge or Reception to ask for our car to be bought up, so it was quite a wait for our car.nThe Hotel & rooms were very clean, as we have stayed a few times before.

Have stayed multiple times before but 1 night on this recent visit with my son. Fantastic service by hospitality and very tidy rooms, while I know they are renovating. The only thing that was slightly frustrating is that the concierge should always be available at the desk. Twice the reception had to find someone to help me.

Staff at check in very helpful, informative and welcoming. Lobby was beautiful and elegant. Room was beautiful and clean bed was so comfy! Really nice view of the city, 5 -8 minute walks to multiple places to eat. Private parking is worth the fee.nGreat quality for great value

Recently undergone a renovation of rooms and social areas. A great hotel stay!nnThe staff here are FANTASTIC! Nothing was too difficult for the different guests we had arrive at different times with different room bookings. The chauffer held bags in a secure locked room without any fuss and/or confusion at a fully booked hotel - a great experience.nnAll of the feedback was great, rooms were spacious, well maintained and clean. The bar has a great range of panhead beers on tap, the cocktails were great, and the social area specious for a romantic drink or even a group nightcap.nnThe breakfast buffet lived up to everything you expect from hotel buffet and customisation requests can be made with the friendly chef and waitresses for any dietary requirements.
