The rooms were clean and housekeeping did a great job keeping everything tidy each day. The location was convenient and close to lots of places to eat, shop, and get around. It was handy having a good restaurant inside the hotel as well. The beds were comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would be happy to stay here again.
Great one night stay in Auckland! The Grand Millennium is beautiful, modern, clean & a great hotel to stay at in CBD Auckland!nnLoved the Deluxe king room. Room is large and very clean, bed is comfy. Nice natural bright light in the room. Bathroom was decent size with large counter space, walk in shower & soaking tub. Room even had a mini fridge.nnThey have a Small sized gym & heated swimming Pool.nnBeautiful lobby with an amazing view looking down from the top floors. The lobby is flooded with natural light, plants, seats & a bar with coffee & snacks.nnAmazing that a CBD downtown city hotel has a handy Carpark connected to the hotel! It was smooth to pull in, find parking & connect right into the hotel via elevator. Was a flat $25 to leave the car in for 24 hours which made our stay seamless as we parked the car upon check in & walked everywhere in the CBD right from the hotel- no car needed until we checked out the next AM.nnAll the staff encountered were great. Amazing prime Auckland location with car park, clean rooms & beautiful views. Well worth a stay in Auckland city.
Do not recommend, I very rarely go out of my way to do a 1 star review I only use Google to give 5 stars where credit is due.nnUnfortunately this has been the worst experience at a hotel, staff were so blunt/rude even with the simplest questions such as which way are the bathrooms, from check in to leaving.nnOvercharged but once I called they did rectify it. I've never felt so ripped off staying at a hotel before and we do stay at hotels often.nnTake your money elsewhere its not a 5 star experience at all. Happy to remove the review if they take this feedback on board and actually want us to give their business another chance but for now all its done has left a sour taste in my mouth.
5 of us in holiday - Got two Deluxe twin rooms. Room is great and clean, bed is comfy. The bathtub is also great and spacious. Little fridge is handy.nnGym is big and has enough to get a good workout in. Sauna is a nice little touch, and the swimming Pool was heated.nnBuffet breakfast is amazing and well stocked. Has everything you'd expect, and was restocked quickly.nnCarpark is handy right next door and has 2m clearance so good for the 4x4.nnAll the staff encountered were great. Friendly and helpful.nAll around a great experience and has made our stay pleasant. Be our top choice should we return to Akl
Certainly not a 5 star hotel.nLuke warm water making showers unpleasant.nComplained and was told it would be sorted… next day just the same.nThey said nobody else had complained, but dozens of reviews had the same complaint.nThey are clearly in breach of the building code, which has standards for hot water minimum temperatures.nPoorly maintained room and very dated.nReception and bar area was nice and a very good breakfast selection though.nBar staff could be trained better.nWouldn’t be a place I would consider staying at again.
