Cordis, Auckland

We loved every minute of our stay at the Cordis. The breakfast at Eight was incredible and was definitely the highlight each morning. The room was a great size and the bed was very comfortable. It was very clean and well equipped. There was so much to do just by staying at the hotel. We spent a lot of time in the pool and spa, tried out the sauna and the herbal steam room, checked out the gym which had such a great variety of equipment. We can’t wait to go back hopefully soon!

We stayed one night with the romantic package that came with some good benefits for the price. Found the hotel hit and miss. Room was very average, there are better and bigger ones elsewhere. For the romantic package I expected a lot nicer. Room service menu through the QR code only had 6 choices and when I rang to order, that menu was incorrect anyway so I had to get the person to read out what was available. Some bar areas were closed. Lack of bars/entertainment options for a hotel of that size. The NZ bar had limited choice and at a price, so we didn’t stay there. The cocktails at the 8 bar were amazing - you can sit at the bar without a restaurant reservation, highly recommend the cocktails. The breakfast buffet was great.

A truly exceptional Hotel. Service was flawless, our upgraded room to the Executive Suite in the Pinnacle Tower was amazing. The Club lounge staff were so friendly to us and the hotel ran so smoothly despite being the weekend of the Auckland Floods. We will return and I will tell others to stay there. The only very small change I would like to see is a bit more landscaping around the rather drab looking pool area. Apart from that, perfection. Well done to the management.

We were given a nights stay for my birthday. Not overly impressed with room. Booking was for a deluxe room, but what we got was very standard and had a connecting door, could hear what was going on. Staff were excellent. Eight restaurant was fabulous. Breakfast was great. Would I stay again - not really.Rooms: 1/5

Service is good from the welcome, to room service, to valet parking and pool side service. Did it with a smile. Old wing Rooms Tidy - Tip book the rooms in the new tower level 16 and above left of the lifts as the views were pretty tidy. New club room was impressive. Drinks kept flowing, food was excellent and then take a drink of your choice, plus an ice-cream and a biscuit to room whilst watching a movie. Hint: look out for the deals on grab one etc. Pool side service. Special occasion ask for complimentary drink voucher to have in the lounge on the lobby floor. Hint: like meat then order the Schnitzel. If a vegan or vegetarian then let them know and they will do the B's knees to look after you. I will be back when there is another deal. Can leave the hotel to go the art gallery or short walk to the viaduct. Thanks Cordis, it was a little hard to go back home.

Beautiful hotel and the staff to go along with it. Loved my stay here! Everyone is so happy, kind and helpful. Eight restaurant is 12/10. The facilities are awesome too. The spa, sauna and steam room are all available, plus an actual spa where you can get massages. Thank you Cordis, I will definitely be back!

We had an incredible stay here. It felt luxurious as an adult and the children had an amazing time. The staff were wonderful, friendly, welcoming and helpful. The slippers, cute toy and activity pack meant my children are now begging to stay again!

Beautiful hotel and amazing rooms and great service. They also contact you through wassap which was really handy for requests and queries. Breakfast at restaurant 8 was lovely as well. Good variety of food and fresh. New rooms are modern, spacious and very clean. Will def go backRooms: 5/5

The food is great. Alex is always kind and can cook very delicious omelette. She never forgets what is your favourite. I like the omelette with all vegetables and no meat/onion. It seems just tiny thing, but always a good beginning of my whole day. Thank you AlexLocation: 5/5

We stayed in the old tower this stay, decent rooms but I much prefer the new tower. Still great service, it was so nice to experience the buffet this time, so good! The only problem we had was with the coffee maker in our room not working.Rooms: 3/5
