It was my loves birthday and I decided to surprise him. Spent one night here and we loved it. Service was exceptional from check in to check out. My check in time was 3pm, but I was allocated another room and checked in at 2pm. This made it easier for me to set up the surprise. The room was awesome, clean, bed was so comfortable. Loved the pressure of the water pressure of the shower. We had harbourside views and enjoyed that. Lobed my experience with Rydges. All staff were awesome from reception, valet, cleaners and restaurant staff. Thank you
They need to have faster elevators as it is quite slow and when big groups are checking- in, one has to wait a while for their turn to use the elevators. Secondly, the walls are quite paper thin and I was woken up at 2am by a group of youngsters who seemed to have multiple rooms on my floor. They were loud in the corridors but luckily the night staff attended promptly to the noise complaint. The staff is helpful and efficient.
Great location. The beds were so comfy, the room was clean, I had a great view from my room of the Harbour bridge lit up at night The shower had amazing pressure and was very spacious and had a great desk that I could use while working. Will definitely be returning for leisure next time.
NEVER AGAIN! 0 star.....nI asked for a view room, I got a little window next to a business building. Customer Service rude, very slow and over charged. Restaurant waited for a very long time to be served, in the end I had to get my own drinks, waited again even longer. Be careful they will take your money without consent and they charge for everything so nothing is what it seems.nFood places - Nothing is close to find food you had to walk down hill and up to return to hotel. We left and ended at a different hotel, which was a 5 star rating. Msocial hotel was perfect and I got my view.nnYou made me pay double because your staff gave me the wrong information, so when I said I paid double I actually paid double with no returns. So please do not try and put the blame back on me.nLike I said train your staff to communicate better and I did not consent for you to take extra money from my account, which you actually did. So don't try and cover your company's mistake, because I ended paying double two hotels with no returns.......nNEVER AGAIN.......
The breakfast is atrocious. Being a regular here. The breakfast in recent times has gone to the pits. Lots of items removed and the hot selection was poorly prepared. Tables and signages not displayed correct with staff clueless about everything. Hotel management better take a hard look at who is running the breakfast and do some quality checks.nnComplicated and inefficient process to order eggs. After all the trouble to order the eggs, they came looking really sub standard. The over easy and sunny side up were over done.nnThe kitchen really needs to take a look at it's standards
