JW Marriott Auckland

I would highly recommend that staying at JW Marriot when travelling to Auckland. Simply because you will get caring from the staff. I had a bad beginning of Auckland strip because of the rented car at the airport. But, Claudia the receptionist at front desk is so patient to listen to us, and her smiling face really makes you feel warm. Indeed, all the staff are so kind and helpful. Besides of the staff, gym room equipment together with the body mass check machine are bravo. Particularly, I like the water station at the floor. And, no complaint for the room at all. I had a great stay. Thank you.

MarriottnnWe very much enjoyed the JWMarriott several times during our long term visit in New Zealand, beginning, end, and in between. The contemporary and elegant building and welcoming hotel has a great location. The breakfast buffet offers an excellent variety of foods, more than enough for all kinds of dietary needs and interests. We found the beds to be excellent, supportive with wonderful sheets. However, by far it’s the staff employed in every department that make a huge difference. The employees are thoughtful, and helpful with positive attitudes to assist you. Thank you to the many who made our stays so enjoyable: Joshi, Karen, Monika, Milano, Jamie, Erhard, David, Hibiki, Campbell, Sheba, Miriam, and everyone else who makes this place hum. Well done.

The team at JW Marriott were amazing and made our job just that bit easier! The concierge let us park right outside the front door which made it super easy to unload the car, they also took the keys and said they would move it if needed brilliant then the manager at the front desk upgraded our clients room so we could get in & start setting up, as their original room wasn’t ready yet. 5 stars team, love your work!

great location. it is ok. good renovation the rooms are nice. wish they redid the bathrooms and some of the stone around the building, still has that dated stamford vibe. great location. executive lounge is nice but i feel like i am in a closet. i am gay, i dont want to go back there. needs more windows. I’ll update this as i try more food etc and report back.

Having a long stay here the service has been excellent, and the amenities are very good, especially the pool and sauna, which I have used a lot. All of the staff are exceptionally polite and helpful, the rooms are well presented and very clean with comfortable beds.nI am happy our stay has been extended here, I will have no problems being here for four weeks, breakfast offers plenty of choice, so I won't be getting bored with it, overall a great stay so far.
