I recently stayed at JW Marriott with my cousin, who was visiting from overseas and is a frequent Marriott guest globally—and now I can see why.nnEven as a local, it felt like a genuine little escape without leaving the city. We enjoyed access to the Executive Lounge, and the happy hour was a real highlight: a well-curated selection of drinks, thoughtful bites, and a calm, elegant atmosphere that made it easy to unwind.nnDinner at Trivet Restaurant was equally impressive—beautifully prepared dishes, attentive service, and a setting that felt both stylish and welcoming.nnOur room was spacious and incredibly comfortable, with a relaxing vibe that made it easy to unwind after a full day. I especially loved the amenities: the shampoo and conditioner were divine, and the bath minerals made the soak in the tub feel like a mini spa retreat.nnBreakfast the next morning was another highlight. The buffet offered a generous variety, from fresh pastries to hot dishes, along with a well-curated selection of drinks. Service throughout our stay was consistently warm and welcoming.nnThe pool area includes a sauna and steam room, and the gym is conveniently located next to the pool, though we didn’t have time to use it on this visit.nnOverall, a very pleasant and relaxing experience. A great option for hosting overseas guests—or for locals wanting a quiet, well-considered staycation.

The staff at this hotel are phenomenal. The hotel and the amenities were top notch, but the staff took it to the next level. The room was tasteful and spacious, the breakfast buffet was amazing each morning, and the newly opened lounge provided great options in the afternoon and evening. All staff we encountered were great to work with from the valets to lounge attendants, restaurant staff, and housekeeping. Jordan was friendly at the hotel bar each evening and Joshi at the front desk was amazing and a huge help! Our experience at this hotel on the front end of our New Zealand trip prompted me to go back and book again at this hotel for our last night before flying out and I’m already looking forward to that!

We had an incredible time at JW Marriott Auckland. The new hotel is amazing, beautiful design, everything is there for a reason. The staff is extraordinary: from the front office, check-in, to the restaurant, lounge etc. Extremely mindful, supportive and kind.nnWe can also really recommend dining at the Trivet - even if you‘re living somewhere else. The food is really delicious we chose the multiple courses chef’s choice and the value for price is amazing. If you would ask us for our favorites, we wouldn’t be able to choose as the dishes were all amazing.nnThe team even gave us amazing local recommendations. Big kudos especially to Kristina, Ben, and your teams. We were celebrating our honeymoon and the team even prepared an incredible surprise. The stay was very special for us and we will always remember it.nnThank you very much

Every single team member went above and beyond, and it showed in countless little details that made the experience unforgettable.nnThe hotel itself is stunning: impeccably beautiful, spotless, and luxurious. Every space felt calm, elegant, and perfectly maintained. The food was exceptional as well…every meal was delicious, beautifully presented, and memorable.nnThis stay exceeded every expectation we had. We felt so welcomed, so relaxed, and so spoiled the entire time. We absolutely loved our stay and hope to return. We stayed for a week prior to our cruise embarkation. Loved it! The hotel was so accomodating and Leo, the Concierge contibuted in a huge way to help us make a tour that was s lost minute decision to book. He went so far as to walk with us to the ferry terminal to make sure we got on the correct ferry. So helpful! We also appreciated Sarun in the bar area. We ate there several evenings and was very sharp.
