Pullman Auckland Hotel & Apartments

My husband and I recently stayed at the Pullman in Auckland to celebrate our wedding anniversary.nnWe initially chose the Pullman for the great location being situated close to restaurants and the city centre, however, there was a lot more than just the location that made our stay enjoyable and memorable.nnThe room was clean, spacious and comfortable. We loved the surprise bottle of champagne waiting for us on arrival, a lovely personal touch, and the breakfast was very good.nnStaff were all friendly and welcoming, and we also loved the Christmas decorations and the pleasant smell in the corridors- can't describe it, but it was nice fragrance.nOverall, we loved our stay and would definitely book again!

Amazing location, beautiful rooms and impeccable service. Everyone was so helpful. The restaurant was phenomenal. The rooms were so comfy and the perfect place to rest before our flight. Only wish I had more time to check out the spa!

Was able to get in here for two nights with my family at short notice after our other hotel fell short. Good value. Room was fine, not luxurious and our bed wasn't made up, perhaps understandable as it was during the holiday season, did the job. Only strange thing was that we were on a corner and the wind whistled very loudly past our window. Location is alright, not too far from Auckland harbour, attractions and main shopping district and parks, is up a steep hill though so factor that in when walking. Can be very busy, check in took some time, concierge staff are a bit rude and brusque. Very good pool and gym.

Could not rank this hotel more highly from the beginning of our stay and wonder why Australia can’t produce a hotel like this. Just beautiful. Clean and well appointed. Lovely staff and food. Gym wonderful and pool clean. Thank you Pullman- I’d come back to NZ just to stay with you!

Location is great, the room we had felt lush with fresh carpets. The restaurant was a bit of a let down for the cost. It was so hard to get the attention of any of the waiters and it wasn't even busy and we waited over an hour for our food. We also used the valet service which was $50 and had to wait 17 minutes for them to get our car. The staff at the hotel looked like they hated their jobs - maybe it's the type of rude clientele they get.nnPros: Sauna, Steam room, swimming pool, rooms feel lush, room service in dining menu was tasty, locationnCons: Room bathrooms, restaurant, valet service, bar staff service
