Pullman Auckland Hotel & Apartments

Chose Pullman Auckland over the other CBD hotels but left disappointed in the service and room quality.nnWas here for business and the room lighting was the biggest letdown as it was really dark. I hunted around for master light switches and found none. There was only one ceiling light at the entrance and that's it. The room only had tiny lamps by the bedside and the table. It's probably a romantic hotel for couples, but not one that's conducive for work. Not a business-friendly hotel if you ask me. And the toilet flush hardly works. I had to press it a handful of times for it to flush properly.nnIn terms of service, it wasn't great as the concierge confirmed my booking of transport from hotel to airport but the reception had no idea about it and I had to request for a confirmation upon check in just to make sure they got it right.nnLocation wise it's also a bit of a walk downhill to the main shopping strip. I do like the old quarters feel but I'm not certain if I'll stay the next time. There are plenty of better options nearer to the harbour.

I stayed in an executive room for 5 nights. The room was spacious and comfortable with separate lounge area. I had a great view over the parks of the university and city skyline. The 25m pool, sauna, spa and steam room I used every day. It felt more like a resort stay with these facilities. Close to shops and restaurants. I enjoyed breakfast and dinner at the Pullman. Can only highly recommend the Pullman for accommodation, facilities and service.

Our stay at Pullman Hotel was wonderful! The staff were friendly and informative special thanks to Camilla , and the room was spotless. We celebrated our anniversary there, though I forgot to specify which one. Nonetheless, the hotel made it feel special. We can't wait to return!!

Perfect for what we needed, bed was huge and so comfortable. Staff were amazing. Only downside was the the lights in the bathroom were not good enough for our 16yr daughter to do her makeup. Her comments not ours.

Fabulous place, great facilities. Just a bit pricey and not really set up for a large family like ours - there were 2 adults, 2 children, and 2 toddlers so had to have 2 apartments on separate levels effectively splitting our family in half for the duration.nApartments on residents side were great. Staff were amazing and breakfast was great value
