Copthorne Hotel Auckland City

Rooms are a bit dated and could use an upgrade. But for the price and being centrally located in Auckland, it’s hard to beat. Cleanliness could be improved somewhat but with the older structures it’s hard sometimes. I would probably stay there again, especially for the super price we got .

My friend and I came in looking rough and in gumboots worried the staff would judge us, they were so kind and accommodating and made us really feel at home. We had such a wonderful time and had a spa and played tennis. Thank you for treating us nutty, overly excited girls like queens, we felt very welcome. The rooms were very clean and the beds were very comfortable. We ordered room service at 2am and was delivered within 10 minutes and the food was delicious, the man who delivered it was so kind. The only thing I would recommend would be more parking and water provided in the rooms but other than this, we will definitely be coming back again

I stayed here last weekend - and read these reviews after I'd booked, and got worried. However, I was pleasantly surprised. This is one of the oldest hotels in Auckland, so the decor and fittings are a bit tired, but it was comfortable, reasonably priced and I slept well on the three nights of my stay.nThe breakfast buffet was tasty and good value, and the staff were friendly.nThe location is great - close enough to walk in to the CBD, but far enough away to be reasonably quiet, and easy to access without fighting through heavy traffic.

The hotel is nice as well as the staffs. They are all welcoming. The room is clean, and it comes with a bathroom and a toilet. It also has a small fridge and some other necessities. They also offer a breakfast buffet 28$.nnThey also have parking spaces, maybe a 20 car lots. First come first serve basis with a 30 dollar fee. Just a 10-15 minutes walk to the sky tower.

Booked well in advance for a concert and was secure in my booking. Great price for the location and even managed to score a park overnight, didn't mind paying as it's often cheaper than anywhere in the city. Our room was standard with a nice view of the water and city from the fourth floor, bit out dated but did the job, staff were very friendly and helpful. Only criticism is there was a strange yellow substance splashed on the wall, we just left it for when we left. Would reccomend staying here!
