The Surrey Hotel

Really happy with our two night stay at the Surrey. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. Rooms clean and fresh. Pool kept the kids happy. Food at the pub was delicious! We had a breakfast and a dinner meal, both times with 10 people and the food was hot fresh and delicious. It’s not a super fancy hotel but it was everything we needed for our little Auckland vacation - proximity to the zoo was super helpful too!

We only went to the restaurant, so not entirely sure what rooms are like.nThe restaurant - Delicious meals. We had the steak, the burger and the lamb shanks which were all perfectly cooked. Service was attentive and friendly. We were the last table so not busy. Great place to go as a group or to relax and enjoy a sports match on the large tv in the lounge area. A nice discovery.

Rooms were a good size and clean. Air con was a dream because it was so hot when we came. The only downside was the laggy WIFI, also loved the indoor pool and that it was so central! Will be coming to stay again

My family enjoyed our 2 nights stay here at the Surrey. Kids fully enjoyed the indoor pool & spa. Staff are lovely & welcoming, close to everything including Eden park. For our last night we dined in the restaurant & delicious meals 5 stars from us. Ngā Mihi

Went there for dinner and a quiz night. Very well run, easy parking, excellent food at reasonable prices. My friend was staying there and says the rooms are the same high value.nSpecial commendation to the lady at reception. I have mobility issues. She guided me to the elevator...AND...when I got out, she was waiting at the top of the stairs to direct me to the restaurant. How good is that?
