Tend Pakuranga Medical Centre

Doctors are amazing but Tend’s operation and customer service has gone down hill and has hit the bottom. Still registered because of the good doctors and nurses, but leaving if the system doesn’t get better. It’s very stressful to communicate anything with the Tend system. When you send a message it takes few days to get a reply, when you need to see a doctor for something urgently it takes at least two weeks wait time, when you call them for urgent matter they will tell you they have no idea what is going on because their stuff are managed centrally.

Tend advised I needed to book an appointment to get a form signed, so I booked the usual 15 minute appointment only for Customer Support in the Tend app to cancel my appointment without prior consultation and now want to charge me $99 for a new one.nnStuck on hold listening to their annoying hold music loop for 20 minutes before someone picked up only to tell me they’d need to put me on hold again to “look into the issue”. More annoying hold music and another 2 mins of waiting, I get told my appointment actually hasn’t been cancelled and I can keep my booking.nnIf it weren’t for loyalty to my Family Doctor, I wouldn’t bother with Tend. Absolutely useless.

The pakuranga centre has changed for the worst. Some of the Drs have been ok in the past but the good ones have left unfortunately. The communication is awful and even getting a prescription moved from one pharmacy to another is a hassle..I’ve had so many frustrating visits. Changing clinics next week along with all our family.

The medical center looks quite new and there is parking around the back of Courtney Place. I came for a blood test and the facilities were nice. There was also other medical services in the building. There is an entrance off Ti Rakau Drive.

AMAZING!!!nnI have had nothing but great service from all staff. The Tend app makes booking appointments and rescheduling them so much easier and I as an extreme introvert I appreciate that I can do this without talking to someone. Although when I have called the MR /CSR have always answered and followed throughnnMy concerns are always met with answers that are useful and referrals are actually completed. I appreciate that i can see both my daughters post app notes on file within minutes.nnI travel from the otherside of Auckland as this has been the best medical service I have gotten to meet all clinical needs general and pregnancy wise, I have referred multiple family members. And I also appreciate that if they can not assist me with my concerns in my appointment I am not charged for it.nnThank you for all you do!
