Big and very efficient staff. Customer service and care for people strongly manifested. Kudos to all health workers and the Government for keeping your commitment to the community to have a safe and available healthcare for free to every kiwi.nIt was our first time to visit this place, our anxiety has turned to gratification and calmness. Grateful kudos New Zealand
Recently my godson had surgery to remove a nasal tumor that was causing severe nosebleeding and could eventually affect his eyesight.nThe nurses in the Ear Nose and Throat ward were professional, kind, helpful and sympathetic. They even got me a comfortable chair so I could sleep in his room the night after the surgery.nBefore leaving I got clear instructions from them on how to look after him while he recovered at home.nAlong with the nurses, the surgical team were helpful and patient. They answered all of our questions, allayed our worries and shared our relief.nI will be forever grateful for their professionalism and their kindness. God bless them all.
Grateful for your services. To all the doctors, nurses and other hospital staffs, thank you so much for taking care of me during my surgery and chemotherapy. Thank you New Zealand for this remarkable privilege that I experienced. God Bless y’all.
made an agreement to come back the next day to get my results as the nurses were harming me so i discharged a night early. all my tests were finished on call doctor said ok fine but sign these forms. i couldn't get back the next day due to limited mobility and difficulty getting there via bus so couldn't go. when i was able to a couple of weeks later a different doctor agreed to come down and talk to me so i waited he then said several times i don't have time for this i have important patients to see inpatients not you your'e not here anymore and would not help me with a single thing. i don't even know what my final results were or anything was given no warning on how to treat my heart condition going forward just a take these pills and that was it. he left me feeling very degraded and more confused than i already was. at the last minute i got mri results but nothing else from this doc. a nurse got me some blood results i asked for because the doc couldnt /wouldnt /didnt. he told me it was my fault for discharging early against medical advice. NO-ONE EVER SAID THAT TO ME WHEN I DISCHARGED - NO-ONE. !! when i told him the nurses were harming me he said i'm sorry you feel that way as if it wasn't a fact. fact is i was poisoned fed food i was allergic to from the nurse not the kitchen i was left to freeze to death while i had the flu and i was left with a major black and purple bruise on my arm after my blood pressure was applied like i was a big burly man he didn't even notice i was in pain. nurse failed to get me dinner that night then when she did it was breakfast food. i said can you pls go and get me a hot meal by then i was so p*d off i checked out to go home and put my heater on!! all tests were done by another doc and i was due to be released in the morning. you made me feel like garbage for trying to get my medical records and that's after i requested them a week ago to be emailed and they never came. the last nurse who didn't feed me also complained and huffed and puffed if i used the buzzer which was only a few times and around food and warmth. lazy nurse that can't do her job!. such a shame because everything was very good till the last 1-2 days. my first nurses were really great.
To, Auckland City HospitalnnThank you ! Auckland city hospital for helping us bring our baby to this world safely.nnWe would like to thank midwife’s of unit 96 especially the ones who looked after Room No 08 dated 18/06/24 - 21/06/24 for taking good care of us.nnWe would like to thank Georgia Steins especially, she was very kind, polite, patient and helpful during her shifts. Others were equally kind and caring but my wife and I really connected well with Georgia as she was kind and caring at the same time professional. All the midwife’s who looked after us so well are great assets for the hospital. And, I hope they continue to be the same always and rise above and beyond always nnMessage - Hi Georgia Steins, after our second round fifth dose of Miso.., things progressed for us just after you left. We just missed this opportunity to share the news with you, by that time your shift was finished and you had left for the day. However, we really thank you for taking good care of us on your rostered hours nnMs Karen Clout has been an excellent support both in 96 ward for few hours while we were in 96 ward and 92 ward from there after, she has been working constantly and has been really looking after my wife. She has been so helpful throughout , has explained everything so clearly and has done all that was needed Lee believe under her care. Thank you Ms Karen for taking such good care of my wife and has a great sense of humour too haha ! She lightened our experience and made our experience so easy and wish she would have been with us during the delivery but unfortunately her shift was as finished too. Her passion , hard work and her persistence has been really amazing and I believe she is a great asset too for the hospital.nnAlso, would like to mention Ena Lockie - Anrig, who took handover from Ms Karen Clout and took very good care of us. Very kind, caring and professional thank you.nnThank you also to Ms Barbara fay, Ms. Jess Maria George & Ms Karen Dyson for taking good care and doing right things for my wife and new born baby.nnWe wish to click a picture with all the above once on one of the days as memory not sure how this will happen may be it will not happen because of different shift hours but would have been really a great great thing to happen. Hope we can but no worries if not as we understand it is a difficult task to happen with different rostered hours.nnGod bless team nCheersnAshika & DishantnAnd on behalf of our new born baby
