I recently had surgery at Auckland City Hospital after arriving in the Emergency Department in September, and I was truly impressed by the care I received. From the moment I walked in, the staff were incredibly helpful and attentive. The nurses and doctors were compassionate and took the time to explain every step of the process, making me feel comfortable and well-cared for during a challenging time. The hospital was clean, well-organized, and efficient, and I felt I was in safe hands throughout my stay. I’m extremely grateful for the high level of professionalism and kindness shown by everyone I encountered. Thank you, Auckland City Hospital, for your exceptional care!

Big and very efficient staff. Customer service and care for people strongly manifested. Kudos to all health workers and the Government for keeping your commitment to the community to have a safe and available healthcare for free to every kiwi.nIt was our first time to visit this place, our anxiety has turned to gratification and calmness. Four weeeks ago I spent time in Ward 34 Cardiology. The care, compassion and courtesy I was given was second to none. A scary time for me at 91!nwith a heart valve replacement, however, all involved made the experience a comfortable one. A BIG thank you to all involved including those providing hot drinks, meals and anything else needed.

My friend has been waiting for 16 hours! She is hungry and tired! She told the nurse that she will be in the whanau room waiting to be called and the nurse took note of it. Apparently they called her and she had missed seeing the doctor because she was still in the whanau room getting some rest from waiting for a ridiculous amount of hours. What kind of service is this. The receptionist blamed her for missing out and so she has to wait for who knows how long!nnDO BETTER.nnWhere else can we go if the main hospital in Auckland has the most disgusting service ever.nIf it were your own, they wouldn’t have to wait this long! Don’t treat anyone else differently.
