The reception staff are always very friendly and helpful, Dr Deidre Guadard is lovely and very thorough. Both myself and my daughter have seen her and she is wonderful. There are never any problems getting an appointment.

I am extremely disappointed with the lack of proper care my son received for his eczema.Despite multiple visits and explaining the severity of his eczema , the treatment plan we were given was not only ineffective but seemed to make his symptoms worse. His skin has become more inflamed and irritated, and we were given no clear explanation or follow-up plan. And should have been referred to a specialist long time ago. Despite all the visits with had with in a few weeks. Nothing was done we had to go hospital just to get the right medication. Yes hospital he got really really worse overnight and we have been here since Monday.nnIt feels like the doctor did not take his condition seriously, and their approach was dismissive. As a parent, it’s heartbreaking to see my child in pain with no real help being offered. We trusted this facility to provide proper care, but instead, we’ve been left frustrated and without a real solution. I expected much better and would not recommend this clinic to anyone dealing with a skin condition such as eczema.

Kia ora, I had an incident where I felt like one of the nurses was dismissive towards me last week and I ended up leaving quite abruptly and I left a passive aggressive review.nnThis is to no fault of Te Atatū Peninsula Medical, as they were not aware of the issues that I had already been experiencing. I have just received a follow up call from the owner Leslie and she was very thorough with explaining the incident giving me context and how they had organised a care plan for me to address my plan, I have already been seen however I really appreciated the effort that Leslie put in to contact me and remedy this incident.nnI know that when I am sick, tired and sore my reactions can be quite adverse and I just wanted to apologise to senior nurse Trish and to the clinic. This was definitely a learning experience for me and I appreciate that despite my sharpness she told me I was welcome to come back if I need.nnAll in all, great receptionists, lovely nurses and a great G.P owner who cares about her patients :

Peninsula Medical Centre provides an outstanding patient care. Dr Deidre was incredibly knowledgeable and thorough in explaining diagnosis and treatment options. I appreciate that she makes a follow up email of the blood results and what needs to be done after. Nurses and support staff were also kind and attentive esp Tyronne who is always ensuring that we have recieved the proper treatment. Overall, I highly recommend this medical centre.

Completely unprofessional treatment, I was basically told 'come back at the end of next month if it's worse, good luck!' Given no reason for cause or meds to help. Have already completed transfer forms and won't be back!
