I was in Christchurch from 13-26 October to attend a funeral and I’m running low of my prescriptions so called a week earlier to set an appointment with my doctor, Bonnie White, and the receptionist allocated me to a different doctor, Dr Brown, who didn’t know my health history. Went in today and I listed all what I’ve been experiencing about my health which were not a lot so I won’t forget and she kept on telling me me that she can’t discuss everything to me because she doesn’t know my history & that she’s in a rush. Exactly! Why was I seen by her if she doesn’t want to talk about my health before she gives me my refill medication. It said in my last prescriptions, that I’ll have blood tests done. She sent my prescription to the chemist warehouse even though I haven’t been to a lab to do my blood/urine tests. She also reiterated that I should double book to talk about my concerns. I’ve had my big surgery in July 2022 & this list might be the outcome of my big surgery. I left her office “very stressed” because I wasn’t really looked after because she was such in a hurry. I’ve never experienced this kind of service ever in my life. I would look for another clinic for sure who are caring, concerned and empathetic. I think the Ministry of Health should review this clinic because there are a lot of complains about rudeness in the environment including the staff at Reception. Sorry to vent my frustration because all patients should feel happy & satisfied after their doctor’s appointment and leaving you facility.

I've been visiting Stephen Wong since I was a small child - he's greatnnBut what is the point in being a member hete if its always a week or two wait to see a doctor? By that time I always need to go to the White Cross or somethingnnIts appalling service when I can't even get an appointment to see my own doctor within a week of being very ill, and having to resort to going elsewhere

After some 30 yrs with this practice, sadly I've gone to another practice. They charge too much and with their additional charges for referral letters,test results it has become ridiculous. The receptionist are unhelpful and rude, it seems to be all about the money.

Such a shame the price you pay and the receptionist ruins this place because the doctors are great! The pricing is outrageous $67 to see a doctor is crazy. The receptionist is always rude and rushed, not to mention lately it's taking almost 30 mins before you can finally get through to speak to them. If I didn't like my doctor so much I would move to another practice. Not to mention when you call to get them to organise something for you, it never gets done the first time. You end up having to call back waiting another 30 mins before it finally gets done. They really need to get their act together!

i called reception friday afternoon16:17pm,waiting for 31minuts,no one answed ,16:48 the phone been cut off,call again says out of service hoursurpose to be finish at 5pm,really need to improve the reception service.
