Incredibly rude reception staff that are clearly very stressed by the environment they find themselves in and take it out on the patients. The medical team also seems to be stretched and distracted.nnI’ve had multiple frustrating experiences with this clinic, and will be using Tend from here on in. I suggest anyone reading this does the same. Half the price, and you’re met with empathy and respect.

Dr Thita Uiyapat is absolutely amazing, the receptionists are so lovely and do their best.nI can’t imagine the things they have to deal with. The space is really cosy and does not give off hospital/medical vibes which can be daunting for most.nnI do believe the pricing is a bit steep but I don’t mind paying the price for the level of care I get from my GP.

Drs and nurses are great. New Practice Manager is making changes which detract from a wonderful Medical Centre. Some Receptionists are caring and helpful again the practice manager has made changes. Appears you are now a tick box and you must fit into their tix box or forget reasonable communication between all. A shame and many complaints in our local community. The practice has changed. I no longer recommend this practice under the current manager. Praying they will wake up and return to the wonderful community Medical Centre they once were.

I was in Christchurch from 13-26 October to attend a funeral and I’m running low of my prescriptions so called a week earlier to set an appointment with my doctor, Bonnie White, and the receptionist allocated me to a different doctor, Dr Brown, who didn’t know my health history. Went in today and I listed all what I’ve been experiencing about my health which were not a lot so I won’t forget and she kept on telling me me that she can’t discuss everything to me because she doesn’t know my history & that she’s in a rush. Exactly! Why was I seen by her if she doesn’t want to talk about my health before she gives me my refill medication. It said in my last prescriptions, that I’ll have blood tests done. She sent my prescription to the chemist warehouse even though I haven’t been to a lab to do my blood/urine tests. She also reiterated that I should double book to talk about my concerns. I’ve had my big surgery in July 2022 & this list might be the outcome of my big surgery. I left her office “very stressed” because I wasn’t really looked after because she was such in a hurry. I’ve never experienced this kind of service ever in my life. I would look for another clinic for sure who are caring, concerned and empathetic. I think the Ministry of Health should review this clinic because there are a lot of complains about rudeness in the environment including the staff at Reception. Sorry to vent my frustration because all patients should feel happy & satisfied after their doctor’s appointment and leaving you facility.

If there was an option for zero stars i would give it. When I emailed to enquire about enrolling they seemed amazing, prompt in replying, answered all my questions, seemed really friendly. I filled in my 5! different pdf forms and emailed them back 1st November 2025 thought it was a bit crazy to have to do this in 2025, why must I repeat things 99% of which are in my medical records, but ok fine. I waited, and waited and waited, finally having not heard from them for almost 3wks, I called them on 20th Nov to check on the status. The receptionist was a bit rude and condescending, she sounded disorganized like she didn't even know where to start looking for my enrolment forms, and said she would call me back. I give her points that she actually did, but then she tried to tell me I only sent through my forms on 11th Nov so it hadn't been long at all and they will def be done by the end of the month um I have an email in my sent box that has the date and time it was sent but ok sure. I specifically asked her why is it taking so long i've never had an enrolment take this long ever, and she wont give me a proper answer just repeats to check back at the end of the month. It gets to 1st Dec, a full month after sending my forms. I call them back and the person who answers is a temp, she is the only one on reception today so no one else to ask and the only thing she can tell me is I'm definitely not in the system yet. She was very nice and did apologise on behalf of the practice which was thoughtful but that doesn't mean much if she's only there for a day. She promises to leave a note for the permanent receptionist/s who will be back tomorrow to followup. I made it clear as nicely as possible bc she's just a temp and has no clue what's going on that im not happy with the mickey mouse practice operations and when the reception team calls me back tomorrow, if they don't have a reasonable reason why i still haven't been enrolled a month after sending in my paperwork in then I'll be canceling my enrolment. Did they call me back the next day? No. Later that week? Negative. Ever? Of course not. No phone call, no email, not even a cheeky text. The worst experience I've ever had with a practice without even setting foot in the door. As a comparison, later that week I signed up to Tend. It took me 5 mins on their app and was processed within 2 days. At my welcome appointment the NP i saw was amazing and my new GP was even better. Don't waste your time with TMC. Its really lucky at that time i wasnt on any chronic medications or had any serious illnesses come up while I was waiting for them to do their job.
