McDonald's Kaiapoi

Nice mcdonalds place. It is quite small compared to other mcdonalds. Went here on a saturday morning and did a dine in, a lot of chairs available since it was only around 5 customers inside but observed drive thru was busy. Ordered a dine-in in the self ordering kiosk but served me in take away. Appreciate it as they delivered it on our table maybe they have seen us that I was with my 3 year old son. Did not receive any tissue upon receiving our order and had to ask one in the front counter. Toilet was clean and well maintained. They also have an outdoor playground for kids.

Not bad but if you order expect to wait. I think they have the worlds slowest McCafe. Evertytime. I once sat here for almost 10 minutes and you have no hope if someone orders 4 in front of you. Great service though, just need a bigger coffee machine to stop the idea of it being FAST food. Good burger makers.

Consistent. Unfortunately consistently slow. Something is strange here where I do not know why they are so slow in the drive through. Dysfunctional systems or setup. Usually sat here for 5-10 minutes despite not very busy. They are friendly and professional however and the food is at least hot.

Today I left without getting my coffee, I had an appointment to go to and couldn’t wait any longer. While I waited, I finished my meal. I think the owners should be ashamed of the service they provide, if it’s a staffing issue? then improve the working conditions and staff will stay longer. You won’t, because customers will keep coming even if there is poor service. Even after this insignificant review, customers will still come. So no need to improve your standards. Improve working condition so people actually want to work their not have to work their. Do better Kaiapoi McDonald owners.

On my way home after a late shift and needed food, Maccas isn't my food place of choice but was open. They did a basic Vege burger, no vegan option so lots of lettuce, onion and tomatoe. The young guy who was manning the drive through was awesome. Trying to accommodate what I was asking for. Cant say I'll be back anytime soon, but they tried.
