McDonald's Merivale

Compared with other McDonald’s, it’s marginal at best. The food is remarkably average in both taste and presentation. Every possible surface feels like it has a layer of grim. The toilets feel like they are cleaned twice yearly. Baffling.

We went for an after dinner treat and ordered through the self service kiosk. It was easy to use and we had the option of vanilla or chocolate soft serve icecream.nThe two plain icecreams were quite large. The two chocolate covered icecreams which were more expensive were a little smaller although they did come with waffle cones. For $10.20 the price was pretty good for what we got as we could’ve bought 1 icecream sundae for $11 where we had dinner!

The drive thru was easy to use, the food excellent. Hot and fresh. The bloke on the drive thru needs to learn some phrases like hello, please and thank you. Just rude but possibly never been told to have a personality.nOtherwise perfect.

Merivale Macca’s is the GOAT . The fries? Always crispy, never soggy. The nuggets? Golden little treasures straight from heaven. Burgers come out fresh and hot like they’re auditioning for MasterChef. nnThe staff here are actually legends – super friendly and fast, even when the drive-thru line is looking like Friday night traffic on Moorhouse Ave .nnAnd don’t even get me started on the frozen cokes… ICE COLD perfection. nnHonestly, this Macca’s hits different. If you’re in Merivale and you’re hungry, this is the spot. Big W vibes only.

The food is what u expect it for Maccas, the service however is rushed by managers, the give as little as humanly possible and the asian guy doesnt smile on the morning shifts, one later aged white woman was is exceptional tho, customer service out ranked, genuine smile and a great personality. 100% top marks to her.
