WARNING!! The Manager Rona Burgess, is a Con-women (she has put me off every thrifty). Please read every word before you sign. Rona gets you engaged in a friendly conversation so that you feel trusting and drop your guard. Rona will then tell you one thing and gets you to sign to another. She encourages you to just sign by turning the page directly to the aknowledgedment section, and before you know it, you've just purchased every insurance and extra under the sun. 

When I returned the car, I paid 5 times what I was quoted ($200 became $980). 

When I complained, it was like I was talking to a different person. Rona's recollection of our conversation was completely different (apparently Rona offered and explained all these extras and I agreed, I guess she remembers every conversation with every customer and I must have had a head injury) She had a whole lawyer spill, that you could tell she had delivered many times and perfected (she even had a preprepared list of coworkers which witnessed and remember our apparent conversation, as if she knew I was going to complain and decided to ask them first)  

Wow. She saw me coming!!!! I'd like to say cheap lesson, but it wasn't very cheap. You'd expect this from a small company but I guess never using thrifty again. 

Wish I read all these bad reviews before dealing  with Rona. I bet most of the good reviews are friends and family trying to bring up their overall rating. Shame shame Rona, what you've done is nothing short of stealing.

Bunch of rude and nasty people! They should be left to rot on some remote island, as they are unfit to live in a decent society. Customer service is an unheard concept for these people. I blame the Thrifty management for hiring such people. My recommendation to any future potential customer is to boycott this business. Go to another car rental service and have peace of mind, enjoy your holidays and end it with a smile on your face.

I am surprised at previous comments I have used Thrifty Liverpool numerous times and always found them to be polite and helpful.

Stay away from this branch (or better yet ALL Thrifty stores) if you can. They are the least trustable, organised and committed agency i have ever experienced. I lost over $60 in deposits for a fault that wasn't even mine, all calls lead to nothing. Rubbish service
