Budget Car and Truck Rental Parramatta Westmead

Very unpleasant experience. When booking, it was not made clear to me that the standard excess is AU$4554 (!) , also, when picking up a car, I was required to provide a proof of address in Australia, which was NOT listed as a requirement when I was placing the order on Budget website. Luckily, I had a printed confirmation from a hotel which satisfied them. Although it is stated on Budget website that they provide a free pick up service, they don't! When pointed out to them, the big guy at the reception treated me like an enemy, and told me that they are a franchise and "their terms may differ from what is stated on Budget website". What?! Never again I will set my foot there.

Rang up today for the insurance matter and this reception was really rude and have no freaking clue what’s going on and I request him for the history booking reference for claiming excess and he told me there’s no way we could find the history booking for 2 years. Mate, what happened if a police officer request for any case from the client involve in any criminal case and are u gonna let them “no “sorry we couldn’t find it” . But luckily one of the other staff member would capable to handle this matter for me and finally got sort it out, tho this donkey shouldn’t qualify work there.

Giving one as i dont have option to reduce that too. Staffs are in the peak of attitude.... personal suggestion is to dont take cars from here if you need a flexible rental period. I returned a car an hour after when I supposed to return. Its totally understandable that i have to pay more for an hour. They charged me $75 more for an hour. When i asked, “that’s it man, that’s it you gave the car an hour delay that’s it” - respone I received from him, he was not ready to talk anymore. You guys really gotta grow up mates. Please show the kindness or atleast respect the fellow humans. I am not gonna rent car from here anymore even i stop my friends too.

This is probably the worst car hire experience so far.The staffs were the probably the worst.The Asian guy with the glass behind the counter is the worst.Thanks to his uncomprehensible explanation i lost almost $100 for reducing the excess. Also i lost another $100 worth of items which i had forgotten to collect from the boot,the day i returned the car.I went there first thing next morning to collect the items just to be told that the guy who recieved the car saw nothing in the boot. So clearly there are some unscrupulous thugs working there trying to rip u off. MY ADVISE:ITS A STRICTLY NO GO ZONE..

I walked into Budget at 6pm on a Friday night, the start of a long weekend, hoping to rent a ute after being let down by another company..I actually needed a van but knew there would be no hope, seeing it was a long weekend. The staff member at the desk was extremely friendly and at the last minute, organised a van for me that had just been returned...He not only let me use the van but rented it at a price lower than i was quoted at Bunnings...He was outstanding and i've never received this level of kindness in years from any company..The guys who get the cars ready were equally lovely..Thank you very much for going out of your way to help me ..I would only go here in future when i need to hire a van or ute.If i could, i'd give them 10 stars.
