Aside from the slight wait due to a short line at the pickup counter, the overall rental process was painless and straightforward. I did however opt to pay extra for the extra insurance as the base cost was already quite low. I usually don't care for extras, but it made real sense and wasn't outrageous in terms of pricing. The shuttles arrived in a reasonable time from to / from the international terminal. Just make sure you get on the right one when leaving to go back to the airport. Would recommend.

Extremely unprofessional service. Literally the only positive of our experience hiring through East Coast was the cleanliness of the car. This sedan handled sloppily, like it had been in a crash and hadn't been serviced properly. The transmission was flaky and my husband and I did NOT feel safe driving in it, especially with our baby in the back!!
When we returned we had friendly service from 1 staff, the rest were grumpy, being curt to customers all around us and stressing us all out, even parents of other young families! The shuttle bus wasn't fitted to secure a baby seat. (!!?) Staff told us to "hold our baby on our lap as the airport is close by, it'll be fine".
Well, that attitude alone cost them this 1 star review. 
They better give us our ridiculous bond of $1,000 back!

If you're hiring to drive kids around, PLEASE spend the extra $ for a non dodgy company and car. It's not worth it being cheap here.

Horrible service, my dad hired a car the guy signed to give him half a tank and my dad was completely onboard with that. When we returned the car the rude lady that served my dad, wanted to charge him more. Even though it was there fault in the first place because the guy didn’t sign off on it, wouldn’t be going back there again. In my honest opinion I think they purposely didn’t sign off so they can get more money off my dad. 

Also took 45 minutes just to get served, wouldn’t even give them a 1

It was only made obvious to us after we had booked the car and were at the desk ready to pay that we had to pay an extra $17 a day for insurance or forfeit $1000 for 1 month (which is a lot of money for some people) More transparency for people would be great. If I knew I was paying $47 a day and not $30 then I would have looked else where. Other than that service was pretty good.

I needed a cheap car for a day trip and found these guys.  The price was too good to be true but I still booked online.  I knew that I would need to call a shuttle to get picked up from the airport before purchasing.  It is a 10-15min wait for a shuttle but with Sydney traffic that is the norm.  I was served with warmth and professionalism.  Very happy with the late model swift and upon return, waited only couple of minutes before we were dropped off to the airport by a lovely chatty frenchmen.  Overall very satisfied, great value for what you pay for.
