Atlas Car & Truck Rental

Rent car twice here. Staff are attentive. Very small place and limited choice of cars but it is just good enough. I purchased comprehensive insurance to avoid any claims on damages. Sometimes, supermarket trolleys could run on your parked car and you may end up paying a lot. Be frank, the insurance is really expensive but I just couldn't spoil my trip by arguing with car rental agents because you will definitely end up losing. I was also surprised in my first rental time that my full insurance purchased through online booking company does not cover first $4000 claim so I have to pay extra to cover myself from that exempt. Secondly, if I purchase online insurance, I still have to pay for damage first then I claim back from my online booking company. It is not a good experience. However, I accepted it as it is Australia. Many strange rules here. If you ask my best car rental service in Australia, my answer is Europe Car rental (a.k.a Advantage Car rental in Australia). All cars are new. Service is great. Lots of car to choose. Never check for minor scratch. Service is fast.

This is probably the best, easiest & cheapest way to hire a car in Sydney. We contacted the office when We arrived & asked to make our way to the yellow stand through the airport multi storey car park where a mini bus would collect us in 15 minutes. Very easy to find the stand & the transfer to atlas office was there when we walked over a couple of minutes later. Staff were very polite & helpful & the process of getting our car was hassle free. The only little issue we had was the number we were advised to call on our booking confirmation no one answered so I had to Google atlas sydney to get an alternative number that did answer straightaway. Would still use Atlas again as I really liked the process of not having to return the car to the airport. So much easier & less hassle & we were provided with transport back to the airport with no waiting around. Only other issue I could possibly foresee is that this option of rental is only appears to be available during office hours, highly recommend atlas if it suits your arrival.

Everything was done well and quick. Only issue was should have given better information on where to meet the bus for the pick up in Melbourne and bus took a bit of time to pick up. Would definitely use again.

Excellent service. Great little car. Great staff at pick up. Great pick up/drop off service to and from the airport which is very close by. Will use Atlas every time from now on..!!

Worst car rental company! DO NOT rent a car from this unprofessional company, be careful sharing your accoutn details with them as they can 'debit your account by error' and wouldn't issue the promised refund. We were given a faulty car (faulty brake!) which forced them to give us an extra day to take our time to drive the car back carefully (as they assumed that it was safe to drive a car with faulty brakes), told us that they wont charge us for that extra day but absolutely did in the end! When we questioned this we were told by the store manager that we would get 100% refund, it has been a month now and despite sending several emails, we neither received the refund nor a reply to the emails...
