Incompetent customer service attendants who blame the customers for their faulty systems and miscommunication.nWent to collect an insurance booked car after confirming multiple times with both insurance and avis reservation who said we could pick the car at 5am if we want. Finally got served after 30 minutes and  the customer service guy named Tang or sth was aggressive from the start. Starts the conversation glaring into my husband’s face and asks “WHY do you want to swap your car?” After explaining that he was the person one who confirmed the booking 5 days ago, straight up denies to ever have interacted with my husband. And says “We have 100s customer, who are you that I should remember?”n what a great service response! That’s exactly what everyone wants to hear from a customer service agentnnAnd then when we verbalised our disagreement to his statement straight starts threatening to call the cops under false accusation that we swore at him and denied us our booking.nWe even made them talk to the insurance and reservation agents multiple times who had but they kept us waiting for 3 hours and then denied us service again under false accusation.nnNever used Avis before and will never use it again.nnP.s - we have all the evidences to support our claim and the reviews from other people also depicts similar behaviour. These guys need to be reported to fair trading.

DO NOT RENT FROM AVIS or BUDGET at the airportnnHorrible management. 1.5 hour wait for the check in counter. Budget counter is unattended and everyone is forced to wait in the Avis line instead. According to an airport official, Budget & Avis merged and there is always only one person working one of the two counters. Every other rental office desk Hertz, Dollar, Enterprise, National had two people working.

Very sad about their after sales service, my Avis reservation #41754187AU6 incured an Unknow deduction of 211.59 SGD 250.49 AUD on the 26th Nov 25.nnSince I fully paid not sure why there is this deduction, frustrating is due to no response when I emailed 6 time. Makes me think they avoiding me to escape taking responsibility.

I recently hired a car from AVIS at Sydney Internatinal Airport, and once again, I was very impressed with the service. As with my previous experience, I was assisted by Priyanka and Mel, who were both efficient, friendly, and professional.nnThe service was quick and smooth, which made the pick-up process stress-free. The car was exactly what I booked – clean, well-presented, and in great condition. The pricing was also very reasonable and excellent value for what I received.nnOverall, another great experience. Thank you again to Priyanka and Mel for the outstanding service

I had a spot of trouble yesterday with my down town pick up - someone had booked my collection at the time the location closed! Anyway Anne at terminal 2 got hold of the problem and worked diligently to resolve the issue with many calls - net result was a happy customer and Avis proving their motto “We Try Harder” is still alive and well. Thank you Anne.
