Everything as it suppose to be when renting a car. Fuel tank completely full what is not always the case. We had enjoyable time with the Mustang convertible. Will be more than happy to use this company again. Cheers

I suppose you get what you pay for. Andy's wasn't great to deal with right from the start. Any time I called the office (whether it was to enquire about availability, make payment or confirm our pick-up), if Wayne answered the phone he sounded annoyed to be receiving a phone call. Customer service probably isn't a great industry for him. When we picked up the car, we were verbally advised by staff that toll charges would be automatically deducted from my credit card and that it would cost 'about $4' each time a toll road was used. Staff did not advise that there was $3.30 extra for each day that a person uses a toll road so tolls ended up costing almost twice as much as I was advised. We returned the car free of rubbish and relatively clean. We were informed that there would be $50 cleaning fee because the car was 'dirtier than normally expected on 6 day rental', however no one told us that we had to vaccuum the car before return or we would be charged extra. A couple of weeks after returning the car I was charged $100 for traffic infringements, although I did not authorise these charges to be taken from my card and was not informed before the charge was deducted. I emailed them on numerous occassions to file a formal complaint and often my emails were outright ignored. I often had to send a few emails before I would receive a response. Awful experience.

I have rented dozens of vehicles all over the world, and this was one of the worst customer experiences I've had. You get what you pay for, I suppose. The booking process itself was very easy over the phone. The pickup was another story, though, it felt like I was an imposition for the staff. There was one staff member there when I arrived that was helping someone else, and I was acknowledged and told that she would be with me in a minute. Fair enough. 10 minutes later, I was still waiting in the reception area on my own. Eventually, another staff member came in, and he too seemed put out that he had to help me - no apology for waiting, no explanation. I also didn't take the excess waiver insurance - they take $500 bond which I was informed would take 12-30 days (!!) to refund, depending on who I banked with. I literally rented a ute for 58 minutes, drove 7km, and filled up the "full" ute with $5.50 worth of petrol. I was barely acknowledged when I dropped it back within an hour. They also close at 2pm on a Saturday, surely for a place that rents utes, vans, and trucks, that would be a busy day. Anyway, I would be reluctant to rent again from this company. At least the vehicle itself was in good condition.

Worse car rental experience. Rented a car from Andys for a week over Xmas. When we dropped it off, we have been told that the car was full of sand as such they would charge us for a cleaning fee. To be honest, there were two feet prints with little sand on it. We asked to see the t&cs, they had to call and confirm with their teams first. In the email confirmation, we had to click on two irrelevant links to see their T&Cs. Not to mention that the car had no carpets which means we could not clean it ourselves. This is an obvious business trap. Next time, we'll stick with big rental car companies, it would have been cheaper in the end.
