Simple, straight-forward and reliable systems, especially for those who are keen to get a brand new car and commit in the long term. Although their sales system centralised and operated from Sydney Office HQ that caused some miss communications, Talyn and Gabriel from Brisbane Office are helpful and friendly to assisted me with onboarding until I have received my new car.
SPLEND DO NOT RESPECT COSTUMERS and provide the WORST costumer service possible. I rent a car that came with lot of issues tyres, panel service lights on, etc, and it was never sorted. They charge undue extra fews and refused to return there isn't dialogue with them once it was debited from your account, due or not. SPLEND DO NOT OFFER REAL SUPPORT but if u don't accept their abusive terms a alarm will starts to ring inside the car to force u accept and it's not turn off if u not deal with them. STAY AWAY FROM THIS FRAUDULENT COMPANY AND SAVE YOUR MONEY. RESPECT IS THE KEY FOR ANY BUSINESS.
Staffs here are professional and efficient. They did all my documents without I worry. Talyn and Dominique are wonderful and friendly. I would recommend friends rent ride sharing car here
When we first started with SPLEND, the customer service was amazing however now its a very different company. They don't put notes in and are happy to abuse people who are sick or in hospital then reprocess a car because they fail to update notes about correct contact methods for a client who is in and out of hospital due to chemotherapy for cancer. This was never resolved and ended up being a factor in the death of their client. They lie through the death and don't cover anything they say they will. Would give 0 star if possible
Worst Uber car rental company you can possibly get in Brisbane please don’t waste your time to even call them to rent their cars. I gave the car back 2 week’s ago and I am still get charged, when I called them to complain about why I am still getting charged even thought i returned the car they said there is system glitches will fix and return your money with 2 month. How on earth am I still waiting for my money 2 months later?
Ive had to change my rating after I had a moment to sit and look at the situation I'm in with these guys. Following the process that seemed to be used, I was allowed to rent a vehicle, no lock in, nothing. Nice and simple.. however, once the end of the year came, the rush for cars are high, I was told that my vehicle was being ground and won't be used for my purposes anymore, later I was told, accidentally I think, that as soon as my old car was ready it went straight out to another guy. Huh... I was then presented with one option which was rent to own only, the vehicles were smaller, Niro's and yaris'. This came with lock in minimum terms of half a year and a return fee of 500 dollars irrespective of when you hand the vehicle back. The vehicle cost me as much as my older vehicle, which was a hybrid Camry 21 model. I had to pay another subscription fee for the new vehicle as well, many other companies offer you the choice to simply switch vehicles if needed. At the time I tried every other leasing company but because of the time of the year nothing was available, I had no choice but to sign the contract or change where my income comes from, which was impossible for me at the time, due to sick family members. Be very wary of this. If you only intend of leasing a vehicle from here then make sure to hand it back before the end of the year like Aug Oct somewhere there, maybe even earlier to secure a good vehicle elsewhere, and go with another company to avoid having to sign a rent to own contract. The service being offered here appears to be good if you are in a pinch. But don't get comfortable or you may get caught out like me All in all, it ruined Christmas for my family, I was forced to pay out all the money I had saved for the kids Christmas and to get a loan to pay for emergency repairs of the Knicks and scratches due to the immediate requirement for me to hand my original car back to them. It truly sucked, I had been working so hard all year and had finally gotten ahead of all my bills, but after this I felt really broken, it took me a solid few weeks to recover mentally, financially I am still trying to make it all back. I'll be jumping to one of the other guys the moment my minimum term is up on this awesome contract I was so eager to sign. I hope this post helps people
Beware! You have been warned. I was with this company for 5 years. They grounded my car and told me I would have to “rent to buy”. No thanks. Returned the car as per their instructions. 2 weeks later they completed a direct debit and, conveniently, sent the invoice AFTER withdrawing the money. I requested an explanation. Nothing. This is an UNAUTHORISED transaction. I have contacted my bank. Take my advice - go elsewhere.
What everyone ought to know about Splend Brisbane. It was about October 2016 that I first encountered Splend as I was looking to become an uber driver. Being unfamilar with the whole process of uber and getting a vehicle that was compliant was a concern of mine. I was thinking…what if I get a car and then I don’t get accepted to become a driver… then what?... plus a whole lot of other lingering questions. However, putting those concerns aside all I can say is that Jonathan, Abdull, Anthony and the rest of the Splend Brisbane team have been absolutely amazing to deal with. From the get go, they explained the whole onboarding process of uber, the do’s and don’ts, how Splend works and they kept in constant communication with me whilst I transferred my interstate license and applied for my driver authority. Jack who was up from the Sydney office recommended that I take the Kia Rondo which was an uberX and uberXL vehicle...so I could potentially make more money on uber fares. On the afternoon of 20th of October, 2016 I walked in as a stranger and came out with keys to a brand new Kia Rondo and some friends to have a laugh with. You could say the rest is history! Thank you for providing a Top Notch service Splend. I will recommend you to all of my friends who wish to drive for uber and need a car. You guys Rock! P.S. Thanks for not letting me wait in the sweltering hot Brisbane weather… I love the air conditioned office
