If there was Zero stars review, that’s what I would give. When I picked up the hire car. The inside had not been vacuumed, there was grass everywhere on the carpet. The outside was very dirty with bird droppings and dirt. The windscreen wiper bay was full of leaves. I went back into the office to show the staff. The young man with the ponytail was very reluctant to get off his seat. He said it was just water marks. He clearly didn’t care. On return of car, no one was in the check in area. Went to the office two staff were just sitting and chatting. I asked if they wanted to inspect the car on return, they declined. I bought the car back cleaner than when I picked it up. Vacuumed and washed. While I was waiting for my Uber after bringing the hire car back, the older lady after having a general discussion that it was upsetting to have a brand new car involved in an accident, sarcastically said to me “ well I shouldn’t have had a car accident” this really upset me as the accident wasn’t my fault. I was stopped at a set of traffic lights and a lady using her mobile phone ran into the back of my car. I’ve rented many hire cars from all types of car rental companies when I’ve been on holidays. This company is the worst that I’ve ever experienced. They really need a attitude change and be less complacent. Avoid this company at all costs. I certainly will be.

Terrible service. Too lazy to get off the chair to show the car, charged an additional $50 fuel even though I just filled it right up. Waits until you leave before charges your credit card on top of your deposit. Would NOT recommend.

What a great experience booking my car with Hertz Hendra. I was very grateful to Danny Hocken the Customer Service Representative, going out of his way to assist me with my rental booking after missing my flight to make my experience as easy and stress free as possible.

The service is good but their cars smell horrible. It's the 3rd time that I'm using this service during my car repair for insurance and I always find horrible smells or unprofessional cleaning in their cars. Disgusting!!! Yesterday I got a car and it smells disgusting. Wishing to have repaired soon my car and leave this car.

You helped me when I was stuck. Sure I paid you for your service.... But that doesn't matter. If you need a trusted service this company is affiliated loosely with RACQ. 11/10 service and 15/10 for cars available.

Sent me incorrect invoices and took money from my account not once but twice to total of approx $150.  Both times were related to me having to spend two hours on a Sunday night taking the car back because it was listed for recall to get another one.  I didn't complain about having to take it back or having to pay for tolls to do so, but was extremely disappointed that both the incorrect invoices stemmed from that event.

We went to drop off the car and stood there with an elderly gentleman for 15 minutes being ignored by at least 8 staff coming and going. I finally went up to the counter where a male receptionist was standing and asked if we could drop off the keys without needing to wait any longer. He said sure! That’s fine. I was really annoyed that he had ignored us for the last ten minutes while answering calls and typing on his computer. He had even been asked by another staff member who was serving someone else to serve us and had ignored her. Poor customer service!

Be very careful. These guys charge you $32 for fuel if you don’t refill it the exact point of where it was when you collected the vehicle and I mean to the millimetre. I won’t using Hertz Hendra again.

We went through ace rentals which is owned by hertz. We loved our rental car and our driver who picked us up and dropped off was exceptional. The only down side was when we took our rental back early and we weren't  given any dispensation or refund on days left or insurance.
