DANGEROUS VEHICLES & UNETHICAL MANAGEMENTnnWe rented a van on 25-28 July 2025 that turned out to be unroadworthy. A tire blew out during our trip, and the spare tire provided was confirmed as defective and unsafe by a mechanic. Due to this severe safety risk, we were forced to sleep on the side of the road overnight, costing us an entire day of our journey.nnUnprofessional Office Conduct & Second Safety Failure:nThe staff at the Brisbane office displayed shocking disregard for our severe ordeal. The manager ignored our long wait to serve other customers, then offered a replacement van that was dirty and, shockingly, had bald tires—a second, inexcusable safety failure.nnWhen we returned the car, the manager's conduct was hostile and deeply unprofessional. We were falsely accused of aggression simply for asking for the promised refund confirmation email.This created a shocking and degrading confrontation.nnThe final insult was a deliberate act of unfairness: The manager intentionally prioritized customers who arrived after us for the shuttle bus. Only once the bus was full did they address us, stating the service was unavailable. This demonstrated a clear policy of marginalization and unethical treatment right up to the final moment.nnThis entire experience was appalling. We deserved safety and respect, and received neither.
A throughly enjoyable experience traveling from Sydney up the east coast and back to Brisbane in a July Condo. Van was in good condition and ran well, air conditioned, automatic and Apple CarPlay. Would absolutely recommend and will be using again.

I WISH I HAD READ OTHER REVIEWS BEFORE BOOKING.nI rented a motorhome for a special trip with my elderly parents a once-in-a-lifetime experience for my dad, and we were extremely disappointed with how things unfolded.nnCassette Toilet Not PreparednWe were told the toilet cassette had been prepared with the chemical tablet. It had not. I had to dispose of undiluted waste — including solid material — at the dump point, in front of other travellers. It was unsanitary and very upsetting.nnWrong Vehicle Provided & Seatbelt RestrictionsnI booked and paid for a Polaris 6, but at pickup we were given a Polaris 4 without advance notice. Staff reassured us there was “no difference.” We later found that two seatbelts had been locked, which meant the forward-facing seats were unusable. As a result, my elderly parents had to travel facing backwards for the whole trip, and they became sick and dizzy as a result.nnCleanliness & ConditionnThe motorhome did not appear to have been cleaned properly. The fridge had residue, the dishes and cutlery looked unwashed, and there was sand under the bed pillows. The interior showed heavy wear, and there was a visible gap around the roof vent that allowed insects inside. It did not look properly inspected before handover.nnVery Limited Instructions at PickupnThe staff member was friendly, but the handover information was minimal. We were directed to a QR code, but for first-time motorhome users, that isn’t enough to safely understand key systems battery, water, toilet process, etc..nnBattery FailurenBy day two the battery failed completely. My partner had felt a strange ignition sensation at pickup, but since we’d never driven a motorhome before, we assumed it was normal. A mechanic later explained that the ignition behaviour was consistent with battery issues, suggesting the fault existed before the hire.nnAir Conditioning IssuesnThe air conditioning only functioned intermittently, even when following the instructions.nnElectrical Problems Windows & ControlsnThere were repeated electrical faults. Even basic tasks like opening or closing windows required multiple attempts before they would respond.nnGreywater Hose Too ShortnThe greywater hose was too short to reach any dump points we encountered, and on several occasions we couldn’t connect properly without assistance from other travellers.nnClean Water Hose Connection BrokennThe clean-water connection point on the motorhome was damaged, limiting our ability to connect water reliably.nnPhone Holder Not SuitablenWe asked for a phone holder, but the one provided would not attach securely and fell off almost immediately. This made navigating unfamiliar areas difficult and unsafe.nnCustomer SupportnI returned the vehicle on 31 October and lodged all issues. I emailed the feedback team on 6 November as instructed, and as of three weeks later I still had not received a response. Each time I called, I was told someone would call me back that day, but no one ever did. It has been a frustrating and disappointing process.
The pickup process was really easy and stress-free, and the staff were genuinely helpful and welcoming. The van itself was simple to use and operate, which made a big difference on a longer trip. It was comfortable and practical for my drive from Brisbane to Sydney, and I never felt unsure about how anything worked. Overall, it made the whole trip feel smooth and well set up.
Worst experience ever renting a van.nWe rented a Crib Plus in Brisbain and it had a lot of issues: sliding door block, curtains missing buttons to cover windows, mold on ceilings and curtains, indoor lights not working, dirt in many places even a pan and stuff for cooking, and many broken things, very old van.nnWe also had the first day a flat tire, and the road assistance who struggled to pull the extra wheel down due to the holder being broken told us that it was also in bad condition, and not safe to drive.nnWe ended up driving back to Briabain to exchange the van. The manager gave us another Van, also without cleaning and with the front tires almost finished. Then we had to wait again to them to change the tires. Losing two days of the road trip.nnVery unhappy with the management and the unsafe vehicles that they gave to us.
