Definitely not worth the money, more like a rip off for foreigners.
We had a camper van with USB chargers and a sink in the back neither of them worked, customer service didn't care. We payed for a camper van but what we got in the end was a car with a mattress. 
Furthermore, what they won't tell you is that you will go through a toll road when driving out of Brisbane and they will charge you a ridiculous 75$ "administration fee" plus the actual toll fees obviously. 
They know you're a foreigner and they know they can get an easy extra 75$ by not telling you about toll roads or the administration fee itself at all.

Great company with incredibly helpful staff, vehicle we chose was a hi-top 3berth which was more Han spacious, very comfortable to sleep and drive. No issues at all. Thank you to all the Travellers Autobarn staff.

A terrible experience and terrible customer service! We hired a van for $800. It was given to us with no instruction on how to use everything, the van was in bad condition, dirty and old,  the fridge and power were not working (which is why we got a camper van and instead of using our own van) 

We called multiple times to attempt to fix this problem and no one was willing to help us, they were rude, unhelpful and they kept transferring us to other non helpful people.
They said that everything is working when the van goes out and that we have to call racq to fix the duel battery. After doing this for half a day on Thursday, racq couldn’t help and we called again. They sent us to beau repairs which is now making us a day late for our camping trip. Beau repairs said the battery isn’t broken, it’s actually not in there at all! 
.when We asked if we could have an extra day free of charge and they flat out refused. 
Only when we lost our temper and asked to speak to Management, action was taken. We are now waiting for them to call back and will probably spend the next few hours driving somewhere to get the battery.
This is disgraceful, I would not recommend hiring from these guys!

Me and my friend bought a car from them and used their buyback option to return it. I can not necessarily recommend buying a car from them since it is definitely more expensive than buying a car from a private person and there is no guarantee, that the car will be in a good condition. The catalytic converter of our car was broken one week after we bought the car (and we did not drive on any unsealed roads)  and at the first 5.000 km service check they found heaps of little problems and one big problem that they said were probably already present when we bought it. Also the service check was not as they advertised it around 50 and 100 dollars, but due to the cars age almost 300 dollars. So if you are planning to buy a car from them get it checked privately beforehand and do not only trust their judgement concerning the car's condition. Furthermore the guarentees that your car comes with only apply to the branch that you bought the car from, so you should basically stay in the town you bought the car from for the first two weeks (as close to thebranch as possible!). We were only 1 hour from Sydney when our catalytic converter broke, but we still couldn't go back to the branch, since the mechanic said not to drive the car at all after it happened. Other than that we did not have much time to look for a car and had to sell it quickly and Travellers Autobarn certainly helped with that. The only thing is that the buyback price quickly drops as soon as you have little chips in the windscreen, or sell it at a different location than you bought it at. So concider, that when you decide to buy a car from them. The staff at the branches was really nice and helpfull ,though, and the included road side assistance very usefull as well. I can only recommend to buy a car from them if you really don't have the time to buy and sell a car privately.

We got to Brisbane after 2 weeks on the road with one of their Chubby vans, extremely comfortable and spacious. We drove almost 3500kms and never ever had an issue. Our model was quite new, clean and fully furnished with all the cooking utensils and blankets we needed. The guy at the reception gave us a warm welcome and checked everything was alright with the vehicle. Thank you Travellers Autobarn team for this great trip!
