Australian 4WD Hire

We hired a Toyota Prado from Australian 4wd for our week-long trip to Fraser Island. The vehicle was in great condition and handled the tricky terrain with no issues. All the camping gear was excellent and it made out stay on the island pleasant, despite the poor weather. Would recommend to any travellers looking to go on a self-guided trip!

First trip down under, we were doing extensive research before choosing a rental company; which was a challenge because it was hard to find a rental company without any negative reviews (I guess you can’t please everyone 😊) but complimentary camping gear and unlimited kilometres was hard to bid and with my ambitious travel plans, this was necessity. The Brisbane agency was very professional and helpful, we received nearly new vehicle which helped us to visit all our desired destinations without any difficulties or problems making our holidays pleasant and memorable.

We had an amazing holiday, the entire process was done in a professional manner; from making enquiry with the head office to the pick-up of the vehicle in the Perth agency. The car itself was the latest model Prado - well equipped and performed well. We managed to visit many places starting from Perth and dropping off in Melbourne completing with a total of 6672kms. Camping gear was quite useful. We have received our bond back on our Credit card on 3rd day after the rental finished. Can highly recommend. Looking forward to book our Kimberley for the next year with this company.

Our 5 weeks family holiday was an absolute blast! Peter in the Cairns agency was a great help and gave lots of valuable travel tips and ideas. We rented a Toyota Hilux with a roof top tent, can highly recommend this car for families travelling with lots of luggage. Kids turned the roof top tent into a playground with no mozzies. Camping gear was very easy to set up. We managed most of the Cape York and went down to Sydney, visiting a lot of hot spots along the way. We will be using them for our next family adventure.

Surprisingly unprofessional. Hired a car for a week and was very disappointed. Car itself was great and we had a very good time, though the costumer service was below average & there were too many issues with equipment. Seems like they never check the equipment before & after the hiring which could turn to be super inconvenient and even dangerous!!! Fridge has stopped working on the very first night & needed to throw all of the food we've bought Awning was broken so we couldn't use it Air pump was broken!!! Tents were missing parts We got a disel fuel can with our petrol car! (They swap it with the right one after we've told them to) Definitely not recommended.
