Extremely disappointing experience with Trade DepotnnI purchased a Vogue fridge freezer from Trade Depot through MSD approximately 2 weeks ago, including delivery and installation. Unfortunately, the fridge freezer arrived faulty, and what has been even more disappointing is how Trade Depot has handled the situation since.nnThe issue was immediately obvious upon delivery. The fridge door hinge makes loud clicking/cracking noises, gets jammed when opening, and the door only opens around 20%. On top of that, the entire fridge freezer does not sit straight and leans forward.nnThe delivery driver, myself and another person all noticed the issue. The driver genuinely tried to resolve it but was unable to do so. He stayed while we contacted Trade Depot because he had also witnessed the problem himself. Once we got through to customer service, the staff member we spoke to was actually very helpful. He went down to the showroom and checked another fridge of the same model and confirmed that it did not make the same noises or lean forward like ours does.nnWe were then told that a replacement would be sent within 2–4 days. At that point, we thought the problem had been resolved.nnIt wasn't.nnFour days passed with no replacement and no resolution. It is now been 2 weeks, and I have had to chase Trade Depot almost every single day just to get an update on a faulty appliance that should never have been delivered in the first place.nnThe most frustrating part is that Trade Depot was contacted immediately while the delivery driver was still at the property. I have repeatedly explained the exact same situation to different customer service representatives, only to be given different information and still have the faulty fridge sitting in my kitchen.nnI understand that mistakes and faulty products can happen. What matters is how a company handles the problem afterwards. Unfortunately, my experience so far has been extremely frustrating, with repeated calls, conflicting information, delays and no proper resolution.nnI purchased this through MSD and expected a basic level of service and a functioning appliance. Instead, two weeks later I am still stuck with a faulty fridge freezer and having to chase the company every day to get something done.nnVery disappointing customer service and a very poor experience overall. I would strongly recommend checking your appliance thoroughly upon delivery and thinking twice before purchasing from Trade Depot.
I purchased online but later learned I couldn't be home on the day of delivery. So I put up a gazebo to protect from possible rain and laid down some plastic to protect from water underneath if it rained. The delivery drive was AWESOME and sent me the attached photo to check I was happy and didn't leave until he got my reply. I am SO grateful to him!!!nI'd been shopping for a side by side fridge freezer for over a year and this is literally the BEST price in the country right now and the reviews for this exact one are excellent. Thank you Trade Depot for excellent pricing and a great service team!
This huge building supplies centre has an extensive range of products. We came specially to look at bathroom vanities, basins and LED mirrors. There are plenty of displays for easy comparison of materials and finishes. We love the ceramic basins, and LED mirrors come in various sizes. We finally picked satisfying items and had a great shopping experience.
The delivery time was excellent. Ordered one day and received the next.nThe communication regarding installation has room for improvement.nI had to call the store a few times to arrange an installer. I eventually received an email with the installer's name and phone number. Decided to ring and arrange a time myself.nKudos to Rome and Rich from Trade Depot for their help.nThe install guys however did a wonderful job and left everything in a tidy state.
Brought a Heat pump for my sons house, a person helped me over the phone due to not knowing if their installers covered Tokoroa area. The young man over the phone set up a Heat pump and install and sent me a payment attachment by email, which took a couple of mins, easy. The Heat pump turned up a few days later notifications being sent the whole time letting us know when it was turning up.nThe install day was about a week later, the installer was polite and friendly. professional and did a great job. He cleaned as he went. he ensured the heat pump was working before he left. Really nice guy. I would highly recommend Trade depot and their installers.
