I bought most of my BBQ accessories from this store. I had to return a few items after a change of mind, and the staff were really helpful in making the process smooth and hassle-free.
Unfortunately over the last 6 or so months there has been a significant decline and n counter staff, meaning the queues for paying resemble that of Pak N Save on a Sunday afternoon. Waiting 10-15 mins regularly.nnThis is obvious it is a deliberate choice from Bunnings to do so. As it essentially changed overnight.nnMost of the time the self checkout lanes are closed and they have 2 staff, maybe 3 on counters. Lines of people packed down the isles.nnI try to avoid here where I can now and go to Mitre10. As they have the opposite problem.nnThe attached photos are taken at 11am on a Wednesday. Hardly peak times
Friendly staff, massive range of everything you can think of. Lovely garden area, well maintained and tidy. The cafe is a nice break for your feet too.
Waited over an hour for an item, she looked for less than a minute for the keys then started serving other customers and ignoring customers who had been there for much longer. Us and quite a few others ended up walking out. There was not enough staff which I get they were very busy and short staffed sucks but the customer service was so bad. Usually good experiences there so hopfully it is just a one off bad experience
I recently had problems with a set of kitchen taps that I purchased two years ago.nThe assistant Bimal was extremely helpful & sorted it out in very professional manner for which I'm very grateful. He's a great asset to Bunnings.
