I bought most of my BBQ accessories from this store. I had to return a few items after a change of mind, and the staff were really helpful in making the process smooth and hassle-free.
Very good. The lady at the door didn’t have a clue where the EV chargers were. The Tesla charger doesn’t mention what generation it is. Says it is a type 2 which is a bit confusing because it looks like a gen 3. After standing in the store for 10 minutes researching, it is a gen 3 and the cable is a type 2 charging cable. At time of writing this, they are $50 cheaper than Tesla store. So I recommend buying the chargers there. Also, FYI. The gen 3 Tesla chargers only require a type A RCD. Not a type B. Gen 3 Tesla charger has extra electrical protection that the Gen 2 didn’t have. This is a bonus because type B RCD’s can range from $250 to $500. Type A RCD’s can range from $50 to $150.
If I could give 0 stars then I absolutely would. The service we received in the trades department at Botany Bunnings today was without a doubt the worst service I have ever experienced.nnTo begin with, we went in looking for some skirting. The employees in the trade department were dismissive and seemed reluctant to help. We were told their cutter was broken and that pieces would need to be cut by hand…this sounded okay so we continued on to find what we needed.nnOnce we had sorted what we needed, we approached them again and asked for some help to cut the 5M pieces down to size, we were told to go get a hand saw and do it ourselves….pardon? As per one of the employees, apparently it is against policy for them to cut the pieces, yet it’s fine for customers to do it…..sure.nnWe found a saw lying around and tried cutting the pieces in the main area when a younger employee approached us saying we could do it in the area with their main machines. I pointed out the PPE signs and the fact that it says authorised personal only and was told “the machines are broken anyways”. Fortunately my partner was there to cut the pieces and as I wouldn’t have had the slightest clue.nnRight as we finished up, an older employee came up and told us to “get out”, as we tried to grab the wood, he held open the gate and told us to get out again. He said customers are not allowed in there. My friend and I pointed out the fact that an employee had told us to go in there and this older gentleman seemed to not care.nnWe loaded what we needed and left, getting absolutely no help from the staff. This was an incredibly disappointing experience. Bunnings was always our go to but after this I would much rather support another branch.nnPlease take the time to upskill your staff and teach them how to support customers.
The returns policy here is excellent. I can buy everything I think I need for a project then return what I didn't use after a couple of months. Stock levels not perfect but they generally seem better stocked than mitre10 who never have what you need on their website.
Wanted to get a trailer for materials on 22/12/24. Ruby at the trade desk wasn't helpful at all. I asked to grab a trailer for materials, she first told me they had none, to which I said you have 5 I checked before going to the desk, she then told me they don't give out trailers anymore. I asked her why she lied to me and she rolled her eyes and took me to someone helpful. Why lie in the first place? Thank you to Shalvina and Cara-May who were both polite and actually helpful hence the 3 starts instead of a 1.
