We were looking for a beach trolley and found one for a good price. A helpful staff member assisted us in folding it up. Without her help, we wouldn't have been able to figure it out. I can't wait to get the grandchildren into this.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Mitre 10 in Manukau, and I must say, the experience was outstanding thanks to the hard-working and dedicated hardware team. A special mention goes to Yash and Alexander, who were incredibly helpful and attentive throughout my visit. Their expertise and genuine care made navigating the store a breeze – not to mention, they were surprisingly pleasant-smelling, which added a delightful touch to the experience!nnThe only downside was the checkout operators, who seemed disinterested and lacked the same enthusiasm as the rest of the team. A bit more energy at the end of the shopping experience would have made it perfect. Nonetheless, the hardware team more than made up for it, and I’ll definitely be back, thanks to them!

My only issue is that sometimes they advertise things as available in stock online at the store, but when you go there, it's actually out of stock in the store. Otherwise, l prefer them over bunnings. Staff are helpful, and products last longer, in my opinion.

Stopped by Mitre 10 Manukau and had a great experience with Xander in the hardware aisle. He was super friendly, knew his stuff, and helped me track down exactly the nuts I needed. You don’t always find that level of service these days, so helpful and welcoming.nnOn the flip side, the paint department seemed completely empty, which was a bit frustrating since I had a few questions. And at checkout, the staff were busy chatting in another language and didn’t acknowledge me at all—no hello, nothing. Not exactly the best way to wrap up a visit. All in all, the staff helped me find what I wanted but there’s definitely room to improve the experience elsewhere in the shop.

Good parking, easy to get to from the motorway, has a good selection, staff are helpful and it’s generally not too busy and therefore a nice experience. Good as an alternative to Bunnings in terms of product options and shopping experience.
