Just been here which is our go to place always for anything we need. Very upsetting experience here. Approached a staff member for assistance. He is an old guy. Looks about 80. I just asked for help and he literally told me to get lost. It was so rude and unnecessary. Why is he working in a customer service job if he doesn’t want to help customers? I will never shop here again. No-one needs to be treated so badly when simply seeking assistance in a store.
Got scammed by there boxing day sale spend $100, get a,$20 gift card promotion. I followed a Google search link to product I wanted, purchased online using Afterpay. On collecting item's from the Henderson store, told sorry no $180 in gift cards as you used Afterpay. Told it's in the T&Cs which were only visible on their websites home page. During the check our processes, no mention of T&Cs and that Afterpay was ineligible for the promotion. Just a mean spirited and devious sales practice. Not going to give Mitre 10 anymore business. Will shop at Bunnings and others from now on. So many exclusions in T&Cs only cash buyers qualify. I'm done with Mitre 10 Mega.
Plenty of parking spaces, big building, and plenty of items inside. Staff members are friendly and knowledgeable. If this is not your local store, I would recommend you to find your local one as if you need to return any items, it'll be much more complicated if you return/exchange/refund it at the different store.
I don’t know how a big company like this can not stick to their opening hours. We took time out of our day to come here as well as about 10 more people while we were there reading a sign that says they closed at 6pm for a party. I dont know what manager is in charge here but they are amateurs. Save your pizza party for after 7 when you ACTUALLY CLOSE.
