My colleague and I had a particularly good time assembling a new Storetech Gardenmaster shed for Marty and the garden team at this Mitre 10 Mega. I would argue that they have one of the most extensive shed displays of all the Mitre 10 locations in Auckland. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable too. Highly recommend!nnPs. You can even recycle your polystyrene here in the trade drive through section.
Never had a bad experience here. In fact quite the opposite.nMy most pleasant experience was being helped by an older member of staff, who had a strong understanding of weed eaters. I told him my needs and he met them promptly, explaining why the products he was showing me would be suitable.nnHe even demonstrated how they worked and pointed out common challenges people may encounter with particular models and what to be wary of. And the best part: really affordable.nnCheers!
I don’t expect the sun and stars but asking basic question like the location of certain items just to be hit with passive aggression, unfriendliness and then just rudeness from some of the staff at the counter,nnI’ve previously worked in retail so i understand how difficult it can be sometimes, what frustrates me however is the appalling service and quality provided by the mitre 10 New Lynn team.nnYou’re better off going to their competitors Bunnings and placemakers where their upper management actually train their staff competently and the people there are actually friendly and approachable.
Clean and staff reasonbly helpful. Eventually found what I was looking for after having been told by some staff that they didnt have and another staff member checking on thr computer and giving me an aisle/bay number.nWent to cafe for a drink and something to eat. Understand it is Columbus but the cake was stale and dry, not nice at all. Drink was ok. Wouldnt go there again.
A MEGA shoutout to Mitre 10 MEGA New Lynn, especially manager Blair and assistant Craig, for going the extra mile to assist!! Indeed all the team in the Trade section were super helpful and friendly. Other staff, who assisted the week before with ordering in the product I was after, were also helpful. Thanks so much to the fantastic team!
