Usually this store is really good and the staff are very helpful. However, something seems to have changed recently and I’ve had a few disappointing experiences, which is why I decided to leave this feedback.nnI went to the store to purchase a product that was on offer. I picked up the item that matched the description on the display board, which showed the price as 98. However, when I went to pay, the cashier asked me to pay 109 instead.nnWhen I asked about the offer, the cashier wasn’t aware of it and called someone who appeared to be a manager. Rather than helping resolve the issue, he asked why I hadn’t taken a photo of the offer displayed in the store. I was quite surprised by this. I politely explained that the sign was on the top shelf and not easy to photograph clearly, but he insisted that I go back and take a photo.nnAfter I returned with the photo, he checked the system and said there was a difference in the product description. To avoid further confusion, I asked him to show me the correct product so I could purchase the one that matched the offer. Instead, he asked me to go back to the aisle and wait until he sent someone to assist me.nnI waited in the aisle for about 10–15 minutes, but no one came. Eventually, I approached another staff member for help and was told that the product was actually out of stock. Since both staff members seemed to be checking the same system earlier, it’s likely this was already known, which made the waiting time quite frustrating.nnI also feel the young cashier could benefit from more guidance about products and current offers so situations like this can be handled more smoothly.nnI have always liked shopping at this store and the staff have usually been great. I hope the customer experience can improve again so it becomes the place I enjoy visiting as it used to be.
nVery disappointed. I bought this eggplant plant from Bunnings New Lynn expecting the variety shown on the label small, dark, smooth eggplants as pictured. However, the plant has grown into a completely different type of eggplant that looks nothing like the photo or description on the tag. This is misleading and not what I paid for. Plant labels should accurately represent what customers are buying. I would not recommend purchasing this plant unless labeling and quality control are improved.
Very disappointing experience with the van rental service at Bunnings Warehouse New Lynn.nnWhen I booked the van, the staff clearly told me that after refuelling I could either bring the fuel receipt or show the fuel transaction on my mobile banking app. I followed those instructions exactly.nnHowever, when I returned the van the next morning, the staff member at reception refused to accept the bank transaction as proof and insisted on a physical receipt. I was then told to go to a nearby fuel station and refill the tank again, even though I had already followed the instructions given at the time of booking.nnWhat made the experience worse was the attitude of the lady at reception. She was rude, dismissive, and showed very poor customer service. Instead of helping resolve the issue, she made the situation unnecessarily stressful.nnThe biggest problem was the inconsistent information provided by staff and the lack of professionalism in handling the situation. Very disappointed with this experience, and it completely ruined the start of my day. I expect much better customer service and communication in the future.

Bought 10 bags of lime chip, left instructions for delivery driver to leave on the stones to the right of the walkway, he stacked them up against my front door so we couldn't get in or close the gate. Genius. I thought I ordered white chip but they look grey. Maybe they get white with age? Well they are too heavy to return and when I call the store, the Indian lady does not know how to use a phone and hangs up before I can even speak. Another genius. Too long on hold to to call again so I'm stuck with them. Does anyone know if these get whiter over them? I think I'll stick to Mitre10 in future. Burning customer service not only gone downhill but fallen off a cliff. Shame, I liked it there.
