Went to buy a replacement soldering iron for my work vehicle and some consumables.nTeam in tool section very helpful additionally was looking to replace a Dewalt battery. Which was reduced in price a member of the team came over and was assisting a query asked by the guy helping me. He was awesome looked it up in the PC as he advised there was another special.Effectively for very little more than the battery cost a complete kit with drill and charger special pricing. Needless to say I took the option and bought the kit. He took the time to check on deals I’m happy he did.nCheers Rob

I have been a customer here for years, I often go to the café and then browse the shop afterwards, note that customers are forced to walk through the shop to leave, numerous times I have been stalked by security, often while looking for something to spend a gift card on or just checking the price of something. Today I didn't even browse the shop just had food and coffee and as I was walking through the checkout without buying anything, a person at the door wearing all black, no name, no identifying features, stopped me and said. Can I see what's in your pockets? How rude, it appears from the other reviews I'm not the only person who feels this place treats their customers as criminals. Don't bother posting your automated reply that asks disgruntled customers to waste more of their time because of your lack of ability to absorb criticism and implement meaningful change. This IS my complaint,

This is always a popular place for local to shop especially Saturday and Sunday.  The place is always well stocked.  The staff are helpful and knowledgeable.  The place is big.  I always need to find a staff to help me to locate the item.  I do miss the Columbus cafe inside the shop.  I used to be able to take my family to go there for brunch.  However, due to store renovation, there can only serve coffees.

Bhadresh was super helpful. He took the time to show me to my items and help to discuss the best option

Nice big store, the garden department is a big ket down, just came from Mitre 10 Takapuna and their garden department was amazing compared to this one.
