Garden Centre is full of wonderfully big petunias in all colours,also marigolds, pansies etc amazingly large vegetable plants ready to sow, still a great selection of fruit trees, beautiful roses.... i love the staff all so very helpful and informative regardless of what section ..... Also great coffee & cake ....fabulous place to spend the afternoon.
Horrible experience!! Purchased a petrol lawn mower in Oct and house was full of smoke while mowing so called Mitre10 and was asked by Mitre10 to return it it was within 2 weeks of purchase. And horror story started-nI packed it and reached Mitre10 and then the person at desk declined returning it contradicting with the rep on the call. She called the Mitre10 tech person and I waited for 10 mins for him to arrive. The person arrived and he declared he wasn't the tech person and asked me to leave the mower so that another tech person can take a look and decide on the next steps. Got a call after two days that lawn mower needs to be dispatched to production company Lawn Master and they need to look at the issue. I requested to replace it and give me battery or electric operated one irrespective of company I didn't mind LawnMaster either however I got a blunt NO.nThere was no update after that so I had to send a reminder mail on 28th Nov'25 which no one bothered to respond. So sent a reminder on 15th of Dec and got a response that it was a choke issue and got rectified and it was ready to be picked. I Went to pick up and saw there was plug also kept in box so asked out of curiousity whether plug was taken out from the mower and someone has to install in mower and person didn't have any answer as it was nowhere mentioned in their notes. Also the mower didn't have grass catcher as well it got missing in more than two months of journey. She asked me to leave the mower again until they figure out what happened. While this all has been happening, I got my lawn mowed 3 times from outside : and as of today 6th of Jan, I am still waiting for my Mower that I purchased on 20th Oct and staff is hell bent on not giving me any replacement either. A great learning and real hard way. Avoid Mitre10!!!
Very well thought out and spacious store. Parking usually isn't a problem even during peak hours. Completitive prices. Staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. I have often found that they go out of their way to help me. I have always managed to get whatever I wanted. This is my favourite local hardware stop.
Quite a nice place to grab some home items. I came by to get some of the sticky tapes of insects. The parking lot is one way so entry from one driveway and exit from the other.nIt is set up in a way to find things fairly easily. There is also a cafe inside.
Fast efficient service for click and collect. I really like that they have time slots for pickup. Excellent customer service from the ladies behind the counter when I arrived to click and collect. Also the staff person that helped me to put my bags of soil in my car KYLE. Thankyou so much for being such a kind person assisting and the best staff here ive met that also gave advice on gardening. The cafe is just so yummy with food and the play area was a bonus. 10/10
