Pleasant enough beach right across the road from shops and restaurants, but way too shallow at low tide to swim.
Went into Mitre 10 Glenfield on Monday 17 March at 3:40 PM, needing washers for my son’s inline skates. The brake was getting in the way for hockey, but taking it off left a gap we needed to fill. The guy who helped us was awesome... asked what we were trying to do, took us straight to the right aisle, found washers that fit, helped us test they would fit, and made sure we had exactly what we needed. We only had 20 minutes before training, and probably would have taken us twice as long without his help. Huge thanks to him for making our visit super easy.
Neat and tidy store - well stocked.nNice kids play area and Columbus coffee staff are awesome.
Mitre 10 mega has everything that you want if you are DIY enthusiast or a professional. The variety of barbecue is huge. Heaps of tools and toolboxes. The garden section is huge. The Columbus coffee cafe has a lot of good food and excellent coffee. Always enjoy going there.nThe staff is extremely helpful. There are actual checkout operators unlike the competitor who is phasing them out.nThere is enormous parking lot. Click n collect is also available. The website is so easy to navigate through.nAll sorts of construction stuff is available.
I parked here to get supplies. Well away from everyone else because I have a bad back and needed to open my door wide. I spent $300 on garden supplies and came back to see my car was coned off with make shift concrete signs that said no parking due to forklift operation. Clearly they weren't there previously and there was plenty of room for forklifts. They had also lifted my windscreen wiper which I know is code for idiot. Poor customer service. Going to Bunnings.
