I was really disappointed with my order. Some of the chicken pieces were tiny—smaller than the honey-butter buns! For a 10-piece combo, I expected better quality and consistency. It felt like I didn’t get my money’s worth. I would have gone back to complain, but we live quite far from the store.
I recently tried Texas Chicken for the first time, and I really enjoyed it! The food was delicious and fresh. The spicy chicken packed quite a punch but was so delicious. The potato and gravy was amazing! Plus, the pricing is super reasonable compared to other fast food places.nnThe service was excellent, the staff were friendly and helpful. However, the one downside was that the store itself wasn’t very clean, the tables were dirty.nnOverall, great food and service, but the cleanliness could definitely be improved!
I visited Texas Chicken Enderley recently and was quite disappointed to see that some of the kitchen staff were not wearing hats or proper hair coverings while preparing food. Food hygiene and safety should be a top priority, especially in a fast food setting. It made me question how seriously cleanliness is taken behind the scenes. I hope the management addresses this soon and ensures all staff follow basic food handling protocols. Otherwise, the food and service were okay but hygiene matters! Soo disappointing
The chicken at Texas Chicken is absolutely amazing! The crispy texture, fresh and hot, and perfect level of spiciness make it one of the best fried chickens I’ve had. Every bite is juicy and packed with flavor! Definitely a highlight of the meal. The mashed potatoes and fries were also surprisingly good, complementing the meal perfectly. The price is reasonable too, which makes it even better value for the quality you're getting.nnHowever, I have to mention a few drawbacks that impacted my experience. The restaurant itself was hot, making it uncomfortable to eat. Additionally, the cleanliness could definitely be improved. The tables were not clean, and the ice dispenser looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while. I wiped the inside, it was coated in grime, making the soda taste a bit off—almost like moldy water.nnI would recommend the chicken and if they could improve on the atmosphere and cleanliness, this place would be a 5-star experience for sure!
I'd heard about Texas Chicken from a couple of people, so I was looking forward to giving it a try.nThe potato and gravy, 9/10, fries, 9/10, the chicken, although fresh and crunchy, it was very underwhelming and extremely tastless. Disappointed!nMaybe the spicy chicken would've been better?nAlso, there is no atmosphere in the restaurant. No music playing. So you have to listen to everyone crunching away on their food.nOverall, though, it wasn't too bad.
