I was really disappointed with my order. Some of the chicken pieces were tiny—smaller than the honey-butter buns! For a 10-piece combo, I expected better quality and consistency. It felt like I didn’t get my money’s worth. I would have gone back to complain, but we live quite far from the store.
Used the online order to then pick up in 10min. Couldn't pick up as the restaurant was closed. There were no instructions throughout the ordering process stating that you needed to use the drive thru to pick up if the order sits outside of opening hours. It only said pick up. It wasnt clear whether you needed to pick up in person at the counter or pick up through the drive thru in your car. On a positive note, the wings were tasty. I wonder if I could just walk up to the drive thru next time?
First of all I love the food so I give it 5 stars. BUT the service is really bad. I have done dine in,takeaway and delivery but they all have some mistake evrytime I order. Most recently I got a coleslaw that was expired, and sometime before I was given all spicy chicken when I ordered half regular-half spicy couldn't give it back as it was delivery, then one time during dine-in we arrived 2 hours before closing but the staff didn't want us to sit at the area where he just cleaned because he said that he just cleaned it and they will close in a few hours so we sat on the area that wasn't cleaned yet. There's a lot more not so good service i experienced but i suggest more training for the staff in terms of courtesy and being polite. But the chicken is the best!
I recently tried Texas Chicken for the first time, and I really enjoyed it! The food was delicious and fresh. The spicy chicken packed quite a punch but was so delicious. The potato and gravy was amazing! Plus, the pricing is super reasonable compared to other fast food places.nnThe service was excellent, the staff were friendly and helpful. However, the one downside was that the store itself wasn’t very clean, the tables were dirty.nnOverall, great food and service, but the cleanliness could definitely be improved!
The chicken at Texas Chicken is absolutely amazing! The crispy texture, fresh and hot, and perfect level of spiciness make it one of the best fried chickens I’ve had. Every bite is juicy and packed with flavor! Definitely a highlight of the meal. The mashed potatoes and fries were also surprisingly good, complementing the meal perfectly. The price is reasonable too, which makes it even better value for the quality you're getting.nnHowever, I have to mention a few drawbacks that impacted my experience. The restaurant itself was hot, making it uncomfortable to eat. Additionally, the cleanliness could definitely be improved. The tables were not clean, and the ice dispenser looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while. I wiped the inside, it was coated in grime, making the soda taste a bit off—almost like moldy water.nnI would recommend the chicken and if they could improve on the atmosphere and cleanliness, this place would be a 5-star experience for sure!
