McDonald's 5 Cross Roads

We don't often go inside the restaurant but coffee with friends on a Sunday evening sounded good. The inside was very dirty! Rubbish buns overflowing and the top of the bins full of more rubbish on trays. Tables looked like hadn't been cleaned all day.nThe coffee was good and food was OK.nThis all turned quite expensive when a parking ticket arrived 5 days later! We were inside for just less than 2hrs and were not aware hadn't been told and didn't see signs - mainly because we didn't look for them I think - never had to pay before this that this is now a 90min only, camera surveillance car park. BE AWARE it will cost you $70 if you are enjoying your MacDonald's for too long. I will be appealing it.

Change from my previous below. It all adds up. Worst maccas in NZ. Can’t blame the driver he only took 2 mins to get to me and he waited an hour on site for 3 Sundaes. Felt sorry for him. Had +5 bad experience with 5X now. Place should just be closed down. Mostly average service, poor quality food, dirty. You can only blame management and above. This time they were completely melted. I feel sorry for the floor crew… got unfit leadership. Been this way for years so blaming the higher ups.nnInitial post:nPreviously I have had many issues with my orders at 5 cross. But in this instance the team were mature and professional. I came in pretty agitated after finding an empty burger box. They explained and verified that those were the order instructions received by Uber. I’m concluding something weird went on with the app. But I would like to commend the two young male workers I delt with, one Caucasian with ginger hair and a hat, the other i think was Maori/pasifika with dark curly hair. They fixed the issue that inadvertently wasn’t their fault, offered fresh fries and apologised that I had to come in. I want to apologise for being a bit hot headed when I came in. But well done to those two especially.

Would not be attempting to go inside this McDonald's until someone tells me otherwise.nnThis place had no hand sanitizer in their dispensers, and bathrooms were filthy, so were their tables and floors - We went inside around 3:30pm, it was not busy and some staff could have taken some time to clean the place and do refills.nnPoor management and shame to the company brand - No customer should have to sit and eat in such conditions!

Went there just after lunch rush hour so got my food very fast.

Food was ok. Place was a mess with Rubbish everywhere. Stacked up even on tables and bins really stacked. Floors messy too. Worse friends got a parking ticket in the carpark while we were there. Not sure would want to visit again.
