I had such a great experience here. I was having chest pains related to an ongoing medical condition and was promptly seen by the nurse and shortly after Dr Judith. I felt that she was far more thorough than my GP or previous specialists when discussing my concerns and looking at reasons for my symptoms. She was kind and caring and sympathetic. Overall I was in and out in just over an hour, although going midday and midweek probably helped this.

I recently visited Shorecare Medical Centre for urgent care and had a mixed experience. While I was pleased with the professionalism of the GP, nurse, and staff, I must express my concern about the timeliness of the service.nnThe waiting times were way longer than expected, and it seems to be a recurring issue according to previous reviews. The management attributes this to unpredictable patient numbers and their priority, but after several years, this appears to be a sign of poor planning.nnDespite this drawback, the medical care provided was satisfactory, and the staff exhibited a high level of competence. Improving the efficiency of service delivery would significantly enhance the overall experience for patients.

I had a great experience at shorecare. My total time there was 1.5hrs. I attended due to a worsening flare up of chronic pain and suspicion of infection. My condition is women’s health related.nnI was treated with respect and empathy by the nurse and doctor that saw me. My doctor was Andy Kim. He is so knowledgeable, kind and clearly communicates medical information and statistics. It was surprising that my urgent care doctor demonstrated more interest, clinical expertise and ability to foster a therapeutic relationship than my regular GP and specialist.

10/10 have been here multiple times and each time the staff have been fantastic. Especially on our last visit recently with my son. The nurses were very caring and understanding. The doctors are friendly and attentive. The process each time we have been from start to end was a breeze. Thank you
