I recently visited Shorecare Medical Centre for urgent care and had a mixed experience. While I was pleased with the professionalism of the GP, nurse, and staff, I must express my concern about the timeliness of the service.nnThe waiting times were way longer than expected, and it seems to be a recurring issue according to previous reviews. The management attributes this to unpredictable patient numbers and their priority, but after several years, this appears to be a sign of poor planning.nnDespite this drawback, the medical care provided was satisfactory, and the staff exhibited a high level of competence. Improving the efficiency of service delivery would significantly enhance the overall experience for patients.
I came to Shorecare with my 5 month old and was seen very quickly. All of my concerns were listened to and I left feeling confident that she had been assessed thoroughly. Every medical professional we interacted with from the observation nurse, the triage nurse, the doctor and others was pleasant and helpful. Dr Casey Rafferty? Was wonderful.nnIn times where we are running short on doctors and nurses while demand increases, I was so thankful to have by daughter seen seen by the team here. Thank you.
Staff were so professional, friendly and skilled. From the triage nurse to the ECG nurse, to Dr Jude they thought hard about how best to handle the collection of symptoms. And the whole atmosphere was positive and kind. Great job!
Let's face it, no one wants to spend their Saturday evening in urgent care. But these guys made it a not unpleasant experience! Kindness and empathy are second nature here, that much is obvious. From the lovely Stephani at reception, the amazing Sr Kim in triage, to the absolutely incredible Dr Rory, these two individuals have raised the bar when it comes to patient care. I've worked in an ED in my home country, and believe me, it's not fun and games. Thank you for all you do, on so many peoples worst day.
Today, I met a very very helpful receptionist and a coldest doctor.nI would like gave that receptionist 5 stars for big helpful and kindly service, however after I saw that coldest doctor she had finish her shift. Sorry forgot to remember her name. A lady whom wear a red top and working between 7:30-9pm 3rd April 24.n1 star for that coldest doctor, you might working a whole day, but from patient side, we want to you help, but tonight, it’s feeling you push us back to GP, no any recommend or advise. If we could see GP at this time then why we came here to see you? En? Good luck for other patients, never ever met this kind of doctor again!
