White Cross - Glenfield Urgent Care and GP

I had an amazing experience here. It was emergency situation for my 18 months old , head injury. Nurse was just amazing to help crying baby and calming me down. I felt understood and comfortable. Doctor was great and they comforted whole family. They are doing good job in following up too.nGreat emergency services. Thank you guys.

Rude and brash XRay staff lady. While the receptionist was quick and polite and asked us to wait. We went for a walk-in xray referred from another clinic in Sunnynook. While we were waiting the X Ray lady said from the reception - ‘you have some more information which you aren’t sharing. Show me what else have you got in your files’. Instead of this she could have directly asked for the medical records number or purpose of the xray to us. Just the overall behaviour was rude and unprofessional and even felt disrespectful. It costed around 110 NZD for the xray.

Reception staff were great, gave very realistic expectations, quickly booked me in for an appointment. The nurse practitioner I saw was highly competent and a great communicator.nnWent on a Friday morning just as it was getting busier and the place was running really efficiently. Happy to have this clinic here serving our community.

All staff there are so friendly and welcoming. The after hours doctors and nurses do and amazing job and are so kind.nnThe doctors themselves are great I have seen 2 different doctors now and each time I have felt listened to and had my questions answered. 10/10nnIt’s always an enjoyable experience when I go there

I’m extremely disappointed with the service at this medical centre. I was on hold for 2 hours and 45 minutes just to make a GP appointment. The call began with “you’re 4th in the queue, please continue to hold” and ended nearly three hours later with “your call is next”—and yet, no one answered. I never got to make an appointment.nnThis is completely unacceptable and an enormous waste of time. If your goal is to drive patients away, you’re doing a great job. If you want to retain your patients, something needs to change immediately.nnIf I could give zero stars, I would.
