Awanui Labs - Takapuna (formerly Labtests)

I had the pleasure of having my blood drawn today by a nurse from room 4 at Labtest - Takapuna, and I wanted to share my positive experience. From start to finish, the lady nurse demonstrated an outstanding level of professionalism and care.nI am grateful for the excellent care I received and would highly recommend it to anyone needing a blood draw. Thank you for making what could have been an uncomfortable experience into one that was handled with such professionalism and empathy!nAlso, there was no queue, just scanned my number and the nurse called me straight away.

Had my bloods taken yesterday by the highly professional Avril. My veins are difficult to access but Avril did it the first time without any problems and completely painless. Such a pleasant experience and felt in very good hands.

This morning I had my blood test done by Avril and it was a wonderful experience! Avril was so gentle putting the needle in I didn't even feel it and had to ask if she had finished taking the blood it was so painless. One very happy customer !!

I had a bad experience this morning from the nurse in room 4. All started when I asked her to put a plaster after she draw my blood sample, she got irritated instantly, first telling me to press for 3 minutes, that's the rule, nobody should change. Later she changed to 5 minutes or more when I reminded her the 3 minutes was due. she kept saying she has been doing this job for 30 years, don't like to be told how to do her job. She was very rude and snappy.

On Wednesday I had my blood taken by Avril. Very friendly efficient quick and painless service. Highly recommend
