Medplus Family Medical Centre

It is clear the clinic can no longer keep up with the growing demand of the peninsula. A real shame really, the clinic used to be good. The long standing doctors are great - if you can wait two - three weeks to see them. The new doctors are inexperienced, lack critical thinking skills along with remembering the people in front of them are in fact people, and not just a triage number. If you have needs beyond basic prescription needs, would not recommend.

As a new mum I have been very happy with the service and my doctor. They are very caring and listened to me as a mum. I feel lucky to have them close by for my little boy.

Our appointment was 4.15pm, and we arrived 4.10pm. The desk told us there's a 15 min delay, and then she told me there's another 15 min delay. And finally, we saw the doctor at 5pm, for 4.15pm appointment. Last time, I was 7min late for my appointment at Medplus, and they quickly gave my spot to another client, and told me to come back another day. They can be very late, but we can't, as paying clients!! ⁵

The absolute best Medical centre with passionate staff who go above and beyond!nnWhen you walk through the door, you are quickly greeted with a warm and friendly smile from one of the receptionists. The service is always very quick.nnJean is the most understanding GP. After being dissatisfied with my last GP, and always walking out of an appointment feeling like I had not been listened to, I decided to change to Medplus, after Jean was highly recommended to me. Jean is so kind, compassionate, and always gets things seen to promptly. She is very knowledgeable and takes the time to make sure that her patients feel heard. I always look forward to seeing her.nnThe nurses are all so kindhearted and caring, too. When my son has needed his immunizations, or to be seen by a nurse, they have always made sure that he is happy and comfortable. Gemma and Pippa are so skilled and also possess this same empathy. Recently, my son was quite ill, and Pippa ended up calling me after her shift had ended, and over the weekend when she was not rostered to work, to check how my boy was doing. She really went the extra mile, and it is the little things like this that really mean so much.nnI am so happy that I chose Medplus as my GP, and I couldn't have chosen a better practice to care for mine and my family-friendly health needs.
